I enjoyed getting to keep my paper tickets at home in pristine condition for collection's sake and scan a digital ticket at the gate.

Second I wouldn't know where to have it sent and third if I ever did get far enough to approach a gate, the ticket person would have to take the damn thing (it is not right to refer to these things as phones) and try to get through all the passwords that I can't remember and don't need anyway as about all I want to do is text, (with one finger and hit the right spot/letter about 40-50% of the time) take a picture now and then and oh yes! Talk on the damn thing!!;)

You should be able to print it out also. The ones I got are just .pdf files.

There's another money-making idea (actually inspired from my step-mom). She has a ticket stub matted and framed in a small format from her first game in Neyland.

UTAD could do, or offer, something similar. It could even be retroactive - say for example you have a ticket to the Bama game that we win this season.
You could log on that next week and order that ticket to be printed, matted, and framed for you to commemorate.

Send me commemorative tickets that I can keep that look exactly like the real ones but without any bar code so they can’t be used and go 100% digital with admission. I’m perfectly fine with that, but I want my damn stubs!!

Mine was 50 Alabama game which we actually won. Have seen every Vol team since 1953. Over 500 games including coming up from Atlanta for 25 years. Fortunately my parents lived in Chattanooga which helped break up the trip.

Been to LA, Anaheim, Pasadena, Eugene, South Bend, Dallas, Houston, Boston, West Point and pretty much every where in the South. Looking forward to going to Pitt this year and Provo in 23.

I keep all my tickets in my scrapbook so many memories hopefully I can print something out to keep that tradition going

Can I print my ticket and scan the paper copy?
We are no longer offering print-at-home tickets at the gate. The tickets should be opened on your phone and scanned from your device.
^^^ Fortunately this is not true. I did print mine out and they let us in. I am concerned that we won't be able to do this in the future.

I have never lost or forgotten an actual paper ticket. I have however lost or forgotten, left it at a restaurant, my phone on multiple occasions...

But.. sometimes... i "lose" my phone on purpose as well. (wink)

Looks to me like the athletic department would want to make it easy and convenient for all fans . The clear way to do that , is offer both paper and digital . GO VOLS !!

Like others have said I’m a collector of all my ticket stubs. It’s cool to go back and look at all the events I’ve been too over the years and sadly that’s starting to go away all across the board.
