Different coach, different year, same results

It simply amazes me the amount of fans who are furious over the staff for not playing Stephens. I wonder if people suffer from amnesia, or had such high hopes for the season, and had visions of us playing in a New Yrs bowl. Last yr we started the season with JC, did the QB rotate and finished the season going back to JC. I guess some people never learn, or perhaps their doing this to sabotage the fan base. Last yr the fans were upset for lack of disclipine on the team, this yr under the new staff it has been corrected. Last yr fans complained of the team quitting during the game, this yr under the new regime problem solved. Last yr people wanted to see Stephens, then when he did not meet expectations, they wanted to see Coleman, still did not receive satisfaction so we returned to JC and won the last 2 games. This yr the new regime has made it perfectly clear there would be no QB controversary, still some fans complain. This staff wants to win just as much, if not more then the fans want it this yr. If CLK thought Stephens would have been the best option he would be playing. If the fans don't learn from their mistakes from last yr, then they never will. I would much rather let this staff do things their way for the first 2 yrs and guage all facets of the product on the field, in the long run the only job security these coaches have is winning. If you do not perform to your employers standard you will be replaced. In the same token you cannot rebuild a car with a crescent wrench and a pair of vise grips.

Our QB situation is what it is.

The adjustments need to be more with game planning, and play calling.
We have 4 backs, that are capable. Take as much pressure off JC as you can. Cut down the amount of plays in the game. The D can hold up, as long as it is not on the field as long as it was Saturday.

last year we were getting blowed out even with a good defense this year were are in the ball game at the end just needing a few people to step up on offense besides the running backs before we are winning games. I like CLK and think that he will be considered one of the best once he gets his class in there.

To everyone that thought this year was going to be different, I guess your eyes are open now. I too thought had the excitement about a new coach. However, I just don't understand how and why CLK sticks with players that just can't cut it. Is he just to stubborn to make a change or just can't coach. I am sick and tired of hearing wait til he gets his players and next year. Flame me if you want but why support a coach who will not give the other QB a chance because he couldn't do any worse.

Different coach, different year, same results, and same Vol fan.
