Absolutely. There's your usual community outreach from the organization and MLS, as well as a grant writing arm of the Timbers. The Timbers Army also does a huge amount of community outreach. They are a huge part of their local neighborhood organization adjacent to the stadium, and one of the bigger projects the last few years has been Operation Pitch Invasion which installs soccer fields in undeserved areas around Portland.

Even though its soccer it's a nice gesture. Nebraska wins simply for being football.

Great post milo.

Have you guys seen what the LV softball team did recently? They "drafted" an 8 y.o. girl that has cancer. She is a permanent member of the team. She has her own locker with the team, uni and full reign of the softball facility.
