Kirby is an idiot. One of the dumbest calls i have seen ( I was at the GA game when Battle did the same thing), and he pulled out Fromm for several plays to put in Fields. Fromm had an epic game and should not have come out any.

The fake punt was Seahawks pass on the goal line idiotic.

I remember it well. I was aged 12, listening to the game on the radio at my grandparents, while my parents were at the game. We were winning 31-28, but it was 4th and 2, not 4th and 11. Battle was thinking the only way he could stop Georgia that day was to keep the ball. It was a questionable call, but IIRC, Georgia's offense had been difficult to stop that day, especially on the ground. They were running it down our throats that whole game. Battle's call was "questionable" and probably against the grain of conventional coaching thought, but I get why he tried it. If we make the first down, it's game over.

The end had already started to come for Bill, when we began losing the battles (pardon the pun) on the recruiting trails around this time and the year before. In the end, we had slipped because of the talent divide.

I decent middle school would not have made that call. Just terrible.

The really KEWL thing is tonight, many of the UGA faithful now know they have the worst game day coach presently in the SEC and there's no hiding it. He's a great recruiter, great defensive schemer, but sucks as a HC. LOL Listening to the dawgs whine and cry is entertaining. Their radio analyst discussed how they "dominated" Bama. Then the other radio personality pointed out they had 66 tptal yards of offense in the 4th quarter, 17 yards rushing in the 4th quarter. LOL UGA and their fans are mostly delusional. Kirby's presser was where he tried to make the point they were one of the best 4 teams in the USA and should go. But two losses is going to keep them out IMO.
