I waited over 2 hours to hear them call us (Eastern Division Runner-Ups) mediocre, talk for about 3 minutes and post the Lady Vols logo. ESPN

I just emailed them to tell them to correct the Lady Vol logo. Someone is either trying to be funny or lazy. Holtz annoyed me then he did point out that the East was weak which I think is true. I think he likes the Kiffins so he had a lapse where he thought Fulmer was still there. It happens when you get old like him.

The ESPN college crew sucks. They never have anthing good to say about the Vols. Lou is a washed up coach made famous by a weak ND schedule, and remember he was horrible at South Carolina. Anyway go VOLS.

We are mediocre right now. That's just the reality of it. We had a chance to rise above mediocrity with a win against Bama, and beating Ole Miss like we should have. We barely squeaked out with an OT win against Kentucky.

We had our share of injuries on defense, but look at it objectively...we had 9 guys playing on defense against Ole Miss and 10 against Kentucky, that were starters all year...so placing blame on injuries is covering for being exposed later in the season on defense. I was so high on Monte's defense earlier in the year, but since the Bama game we seemed to have laid down for teams.

So, as much as I love UT...truth is we've played like a mediocre team most of the year, and our record certainly reflects that. It's still an improvement over last year's team, which was awful.

Calm down! I did think Mark May made a good point about recruiting since we compete against V.Tech (remember Jason Witten). I'm sure Kiffin doesn't want to pull a Fulmer (Clemson and Maryland fiasco).

We beat those two mediocre teams right.... I thought so and that Bama team that manhandled VT was handled by us(freakin Kicker!!!!).

Yeah, this makes Florida look bad then because they played all the week teams this year with the exception of a few. I had a lot of people on the "Lane Train" yesterday because Florida did have a weak schedule and they were finally playing a good team!

So did everyone else. College football is loaded with easy games. Western Kentucky was beaten by MTSU 62-24. That opponent was a great start to the Kiffin era. It was also a poor warm up for a very mediocre (6-6 as of now) UCLA.
