Did you play college sports?

I worked out with the UT Rugby team once when I was a freshman. . .nearly killed me so I went to Ranger School instead! My hat is off to all Rugby players:hi:

Yeah I've been involved in rugby in one way or another since I was a child. I came to the States in maybe '02 from Ireland, and was since converted into a pretty big vols fan. I would have gone straight to UT for rugby but their rugby team has only recently started offering schlarships, and so KSU was the best offer considering they do offer scholarships.

I played one year and was the starting guard for a small college basketball team in Oregon. This was many years ago. Went 20-4 and finished 1st. I believe the school has won 8 national titles. NBCAA (6) and NSCAA (2) titles.

If you look it up you'll know it was a VERY small college......

Bitter Rival! Just not as good anymore now that ya'll are in a different college than Shorter. Is Brian still coaching there?

Yeah the loss of scholarship players has hurt, but we played pretty well during the fall. A few top-5s and a win. And yes Coach Farrer is still coaching

ran track for Berea College located in Berea KY (same town where Luke Stocker is from and played his high school ball) from 05-08.

Not a juicy topic, really, but it would be fun to get a sense of who competed in college athletics. Just a quick note about where, when and what sport would be cool.

I raced sailboats for Tennessee from 1996-2000. Technically we were a club sport, and the best we did nationally was an "also receiving votes" in Sailing World's College Sailing Top 20.

Wachoo got?

Mostly high school bench warmers at this site. I'll cop that.

I was recruited for football and wrestling. I wrestled at Cal State Bakersfield 84 to 85. Transferred to Fresno State and wrestled 85 to 87.

Could have easily played lacrosse, but didn't see a real reason to as it is a club sport and the team is terrible.

I played college baseball for an NAIA school here in nashville called trevecca from 95-98.

played D-I baseball and went to the college world series twice. It was so long ago, most of the VolNation followers were just a gleam in their daddy's eye.
