Thats a good one...i got one thats up there with you. I got an interception against Elizabethton and ran it all the way back to the five yard line before Jason Witten smashed that living snot out of me:crazy:...lol...I was so pumped that I didn't even feel anything though. We won the game but they went on to win a state title.

Oh..and I only played intramural sports in college...basketball, flag football (went to the nationals), soccer, and softball.

Played baseball my freshman year at Faulkner University ('04/'05) then transferred and played a couple more seasons at Carson-Newman College until injuries/surgeries/lack of eligibility remaining ended my playing days.

Yep. Swear they had the longest looking bench in the world. They subbed in 5 at a time!

Probably was one of the most enjoyable games, I ever played in where we lost was against Shelby. It was nothing but a track meet, both team scores triple figures, and no over time.

I assume you're pleased you didn't have to suffer through the two regime changes?

Yeah it was great, but I still had to listen to my share of drunk guys yelling how we couldn't win 8 games even though we failed to do so only once.

I had the opportunity to play 4 sports collegiately. (Did play 2).

Out of HS I had offers to play FB (all state receiver) and was an invited walk-on to play Hoops at Kansas. Couldn't afford it, so Larry Brown sent me to Fort Scott (Kansas) JUCO. (84-86). After 2 years there (which I loved and got better), I signed with Eastern Kentucky, but they had a coaching change, so I switched to Lincoln Memoral University Redshirted 86-87....played 87-89!

Was asked to play tennis at LMU and also Golf. Hoops coach wouldn't let me do it since I was on scholarship with hoops. After hoops eligibilty was up, I did play on golf team during spring semester of senior year.

Loved it all!!!

And by the way.......LMU Railsplitters are ranked 6th in country and are 20-0 this year!! Congrats boys!!

Baseball, 91-Ole Miss, never made it to season due to last knee injury. Never returned after pledging Pike, getting wasted, etc. Parents brought me home pretty quick.
