Strength and Conditioning is paying off. It is only going to get better. We will have tons of upper classman next year. Already a year in, majority of players getting game reps. JUCO's on board getting reps, other JUCOs coming in.
O line reinforcement and recovery.

But the one big difference is...........

NO EXCUSES AND INJURIES!!!!!!

Yeah, we have had a few standard wear and tear on a season, but that bug has mysteriously been squashed and swept under the rug.
Comes down to being tough and physical! Not Butch Jones wanna be finesse chart crap.

So you're trying to say we have real men in charge now and they are taking high school kids and trying to turn them into real men also. I'll drink to that.

I am saying that. But also I am saying most of these men next year that play won't be straight out of highschool. We will have many JUCO players and Sr class.

The good news is the OL will be light years better as will most of the other position groups except for the DL. Pretty much all new faces (please don't go early AT). Hopefully they get a bunch of the new DL freshman in as EE's and get them in the weight room. Then they have 3 winnable games before the season really starts at Florida. Next year will go as well as CJP and CSR can get the new DL ready for SEC play. Its a tall order getting 18 YO boys ready to go against 21 and 22 YO men. Just as this tear has gone the way our OL played next year will be how the DL develops.

Yeah, looking forward to it. Even tho I hoped for miracles, I hoped to see steady progress. I think next year will be fun.

Tuttle, Philips, Abernaty, TK, Kongbo, Johnson, and Bain are seniors. Goodin and Emerson should shore up the D line well. We have many edge rushers we haven't seen play yet. Ryan Johnson and Neihaus did well on the O line yesterday, just sophomores. Kennedy can get a redshirt right? On offense, we basically have everyone coming back but Madre London.

We’ve had injuries but they have managed them well also...not rushing guys back or playing them too soon, and now we’ve got guys like Abernathy and Kelly back for the home stretch.

Yeah and lets win another game and get a Bowl game. Which means 6 more weeks of practice. That will be a good thing.

The offensive line stepped up yesterday. I was not calling them strong during the Charlotte game.

I thought Kennedy was a grad transfer and was only eligible for 1 year, maybe I'm wrong?

I read somewhere couple weeks ago that Chryst and London are the only seniors on the offensive side of the ball, and Kennedy does still have one year left. Not saying I know that to be right, I just remember reading it.

He is a graduate transfer, so with the injury, he should have another year of eligibility for medical redshirt this year, unless he has already redshirted at Bama.

IIRC, he had a RS year at Bama and had 2 years of eligibility when he transferred having graduated from bama in 3 years. It may be possible to get a medical for this year, but not many guys get 6 years to play 4?

University of Tennessee Athletics
Listed as a red shirt junior on the roster

Another interesting fact from the UT page, "Pursuing a master’s degree in Kinesiology". Is this degree typically completed within 2 years?
