Did you hear herbstreit?

Ok so what exactly did he say? I've heard him say on ESPN this week that it'll get ugly very quickly.

says we have no chance, but did give props to kiffin on the staff he put together and the recruiting classes he is getting. he said florida better beat up on us while they can because in a year or two its going to be neck and neck as far as talent level.

he also said that teblow is really going to take it to us, and may wear jorts for the entire game. jk.. but he said if tebow chooses he may choose to run over EB to send a message. bunch of bs, i hope the gators are so over confident that when we are tied with them after one they are shell shocked and give us a chance the rest of the game.

"It'll be ugly... but enjoy it while you can because Kiffin will recruit phenomenal athletes and they'll be rubbing elbows with Georgia and Florida soon."

Not word-for-word but that's pretty much it.

I heard the interview, he pretty much said UT has no chance this week.....BUT, He thought that we would be a player after a season or two. He commented on the staff, how well they recruit, the opportunity for youngsters to play and learn from such a talented staff pretty much. According to Kirk The Big Orange will be for For Real pretty soon!!!

Yeah and that Florida should take beating up the Vols as much as they can now because UT is recruiting phenomenal athletes and they will be back in a few years.

Todd McShay, not Herbstreet, said that Crompton couldn't have had a worse day than he did against a mediocre UCLA defense.

That's the link I got!

I really hope tebow tries to lay into Berry.. If so, he can forget his Heisman compaign.. You can't win a Heisman sitting on the bench the whole year..

Good ole Herb Kirkstreit

Thanks to Vercingetorix for introducing that into my lexicon.

I love EB as much as the next guy but Timmy is a load. Plus he out weighs EB by 30 pounds or so. Tebow has been playing in the SEC for 3 years now and i have yet to see anyone remotely knocking him out. Most of the time he delivers the blow.
I would love to see EB do it though.

It still annoys the wife every single time she hears his name, because she's never going to be quite 100% sure which is right. It never gets old.

I just don't see a "big hit" on either end should they encounter each other. I think EB is pretty smart when tackling Tebow. From what I've seen he goes low for the most part.

Kirk-streit has a gift for overstating the obvious. With all those blue-chip recruits rolling in to Knoxville, even the love child of Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could see that the Vols will be great in the future.

Well i think there is more of a chance of Berry making the big hit, one thing he was right about, is that you better beat us now cause you wont be able to in a couple years. BOOK THAT!!!!!

Eric isnt dumb, he wont stand there and just let Timmy truck him. Eric will go low and make a secure tackle.

I dont think Tebow tries to run over EB when they played in the Swamp EB's freshman year some of the hardest hits of the game was EB taking it to Tebow I dont think he risks it!

Don't count out little bitty Nick Reveiz capping off on Tebow. He's a head knocker also. I'd love to see that one.
