Plus the 3 that were taken away. It would be tacky to have a big announcement of new commits while at the same time jerking away offers from other commits.

Well that's the point. There's already a **** storm brewing after taking away 3. Not good timing to announce new accepted offers. Need to let the decommit news marinate for a few weeks before announcing new (replacement) home run commits.

I doubt Shoop thinks the D-side of the LOS is full of brainiacs. Seems like they struggled to even line up for the snaps.

so nobody really knows what the new class will look like

and i try to never expect anything from Freshmen :)

Florida ended their season with huge loses in the defense and had to replace their q.b. early in the season but Mac didn't use injuries as an excuse.
IF anything, this will point out the need for bUTch to develop the reserve players, so that they are ready to play and also to work more on depth. Not just 2nd string players but 3rd strlng players also.
Last season, our weakness was not being able to keep a lead and losing games that we had the lead in. NOw our weakness is quality depth.....
GO back and work on that weakness....

Bet his Tutor has a nice little stash in his bank account. Reuben can't speak but he's passing all his classes and can chase the hell out of a foozball.

"Tacky"? If Butch was ever gonna announce a big time recruiting commitment after a bad loss, this past week was the time to do it. Didn't need to be all "tacky" about it either by pulling some other kid's offer either. As I mentioned, got at least a couple spots available right now.

Yeah, It's along way from signing day but Butch has already loaded the boat with 3 Stars.

His recruiting talent has tanked faster then Fulmer's.

The verdict is still out for Shoop but he's done nothing for recruiting even over the summer months.

I figured when Shoop hit the seen we'd have the big boys lined up to play for him!

Looks like Franklin was and is the key to Vandy and Penn State.

The head guy is the face of the program. Shoop was considered a can't miss hire. Something went wrong and i'd say it has a lot to do with Butch. This class won't finish in the top 10 of the SEC. It's going down the same path as Dooley. Only question left is when does it end.

I thought there was a commit announcement after Alabama whipped us. I remember being surprised, but don't remember his name.

It's Butch's 5th year -- so, "has dropped" sounds bad, and "has fallen" definitely sounds even worse.

Pretty bad, if ultimately true.
