Did we improve or was LSU's offense just inept?

They had 5* turnovers. Nah... I'd say they were firing on all cylinders...

* I counted the high snap as a turnover, but was later corrected, as it didn't count. The true number was 4?

LSU sucks they will get blown out by Bama, and Auburn! Our offense looked better, Poole is a beast, Jones is a sure handed WR we need him in on every play, Hunter is gonna be a All American when we get a O Line that can block long enough for him to get open. Our DEFENSE is god awful... coming into this season Wilcox was the new coach I was excited to have, but he has shown me nothing. He has playmakers on D and good talent but they are not prepared to play each week and that is on the coach. Our D has to get better or we wont win another game.

Any fan who watched this game and thinks we won't win another game is blind at best. The offense is improving every week and if we had a pass rush, we would 3-2 easily. We will win 6 yet.

GO VOLS!!

The return of Gerald Jones really made a difference for us. He was a force on 3rd downs. He could be the key to turning our offense around.

LSU is nowhere near a top 10 team.

I'd say we improved slightly but LSU's offense is horrid.

Here are the raw facts of the matter. We were outperformed in passing, except ints. We were trounced in the running game, except the fumble, which was actually a pass play. Smart pay and breaks kept us in this one.

Passing
UT 12/23 121 5.3 0td 0int
LSU 19/33 215 6.5 0 3

Rushing
UT 37 96 2.6 2 20
LSU 36 219 6.1 2 83

I'm not sure what game others were watching, but we won the turnover battle 4-0. Otherwise it would have been yet another blowout. We played with heart and passion. Nevertheless our D nor our O are in the same league with LSU. Although, their QBs could use some help in decision making.

Special teams were a pleasant surprise.

Anyone who'd watched LSU knew this was coming as far as their total ineptness offensively.

I had watched them against UNC and WVU and it still shocked me at how absolutely terrible LSU was on the offensive side.

LSU could have won by 14 if they literally didn't attempt a forward pass. However, they just kept chucking it.

I think LSU is awful along with the gators!! We just cant stop anyone on a freaking 3rd and long to save our lives. If you stop LSU on 4&14 we wont even have to worry about the crap that happened at the end.

It was a little of both. Jordan Jefferson might be the worst QB in LSU's history. Lee came in and did pretty well but he had a years worth of rust to shake off. Yall still struggled to shut down our run, just like every other team we have played.

We certainly didnt light up the score board. Scored on the first play of the game and the last play of the game
