Did VIF Fall into the Fire Pit?

I heard a hellava ruckus outside the other day and looked out a Cooper was in hot pursuit of peacock that wandered onto our property. They other two hounddogs soon joined in the fun. This is what I saw in the front yard high up in an oak tree.

Drunk VIF in our computer room and pool with some kick a$$ craft beers. St. Bernardus Prior 8 is my newest favorite of the Belgian beers, defeating St. Bernardus ABT 12, considered by most as the World's best craft beer last year. The Prior 8 was more full bodied and did not have as bitter a start as the ABT 12, both are fantastic beers.
I had the pleasure of finding Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout on tap at a Tampa restaurant called Datz. I suggest if you ever have the opportunity to try this beer, do it. The Kentucky Ale in the pool picture is very similar but not as complex and full flavored as the stout. One pic has a Mead from the Bee Nektar Meadery that RV wanted to try. 14% ABV. whoa!!!! Not my style, but she liked it.
The next post has a Yuengling Bock which was a bit lacking in my opinion, but drinkable.

Awesome VIF. I got out of tracking beers down like that when kid 2 was born. I look forward to getting into it again. I love good beer.

Srsly, if you have a Total Wine near you, look for Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout. Top of the line IMO.:good!: They have an agreement with Wild Turkey Bourbon to exclusively use their old barrels for beer aging. Brilliant!!!:salute:
