I drove to Alabama Friday night to see a dear friend who has been diagnosed with brain cancer at 49 years old. It is not good. We spent some quality time together this weekend and it was well worth the 6 hour drive to see him. We have known him for 17 years and I am the honorary uncle to his kids. I will post some pictures of the room they made us stay in later, but here is a picture of us together this weekend.

Dood, we stayed at his mother's house and she has a bammer room. unbelievable. She asked how I slept the first night and I told her I had nightmares of Nick Saban chasing me. She said "that wasn't Nick Saban, that was the ghost of Bear Bryant"! She's a funny lady. lol:

Very sad man. Prayers sent. My 40 something neighbor whose a father of 3 is battling this. Owner his own mechanics shop and has now had to completely sell out.
