The last I remember about him is that he was down to Kentucky,Cincinatti,Louisville, and Tennessee.

If he goes to Louisville or anywhere other than UT it would make this loss even worse because getting him is the only reason why I'd even care about our basketball team next season.

I doubt this game will factor in any major way into his decision, whatever that ends up being.

As of yesterday, he said that he still wanted to visit UK and UT, but most posters at another site still think he's 75% leaning Orange. One game doesn't lose a recruit.

Because hes listed Kentucky as his favorites all year:)

I see you are no longer overseas. Welcome home!

Recruiting is won on the phone, not on the court. If it were won on the court, 14-17 teams would always be 14-17, and we're not.

I would think he's more likely to come to us than UofL. Mainly because playing time would probably be an issue with Louisville. With us, I think he could come in and start right away. Probably the same with UK.

As for last night's game costing us, I don't think so. I mean, Scotty's high school team got bounced in the first round of the Kentucky State Tourney. When it's time for his decision, I don't think he's going to look TOO much at how a team did/did not finish.

No not at UK

They still have Meeks and Jasper who will be back next year along with Liggins and Miller

I think Liggins will wind up at PG,Meeks at SG and Hopson,Jasper, and Miller rotating at SF.

Louisville however is about to lose Williams,Clark, and Caracter early to the NBA along with Padgett and Palacios who will graduate.
Louisville is bringing in front court help but the fact they fell out of competition for Tyreke Evans will make their backcourt weaker

Can Hopson play SG or SF? You don't think he could start over either Meeks or Jasper?

Hopson projects to be a college SF or 3G because for his size and weight at SG hes an outstanding rebounder and leaper.

Meeks is Kentucky's most important player in my opinion and him not being healthy for the entire season was a tough blow for them.

However we will politely provide them the most mega ass whooping next season in Rupp they've ever felt.

Please leave and go post your trash somewhere else. I'm sure a BYU football board could use someone like you talking about how they will win the BCS next year.

Does that mean if we don't get Hopson we won't have to worry about seeing you around here? If so, go to UC, Scotty.

you guys are harsh....but I guess it's somewhat deserved for the odd ending comment

why would he base his decision on one game....if anything it would increase our chances cause Louisville returns just about all their players, we lose our 2 starters at his position

This is the sign of a true fan. You would base your fanhood on an inbound freshman. Go Away. you sound like a troller.

I have disagreed with you before, but you are completely spot on with this remark and its spirit. An individual recruit should never affect your "caring" about your college team. Reegan must really have no ties to the University.

If anything, he should have seen last night that he has an opportunity to immediately come on board and start for Tennessee. I would think that it helped his decision to come to UT after last night.
