If the other teams' schedules were random, UK's Saturday opponent would have a 6/12 or 50% chance of playing on Wednesday. It's not 6/13, because one of those 13 teams is playing against UK on Tuesday. And, this impacts eight weeks, not nine, because everyone began SEC play on a Saturday, so that first Saturday when UK lost at Bama is not part of this.
On SEC Now, they said the only thing they could review was if the time had expired before the tip, but couldn't review if the ball was over the cylinder. The refs. owe Kentucky due to a blown call that would have put them in overtime. As another poster said, playing in corRUPPt Arena with the RUPParees it is highly doubtful that it will be called fairly. There is always home cooking when you play in Kentucky.
This, if we contain Herro, I think we win by 10 at least. If he goes off or gets hot at any point, it could be a long night. The positive is that this game isn’t a must-win for us other than for our own pride. When UK comes to Kville, they may have their brakes blown off.If Kentucky is making 3s we could be in trouble. But if they're not and hitting the board hard we better be ready to team rebound.
Matrix reference wins the internet today. You want BOLD?
Our Vols are like Neo fighting Mr smith in the matrix. One hand by his side blocking and punching with one hand and then the kick to the stomach that sends him sprawling against the wall. They hold out their hands and bullets fall to the ground. They dominate teams even when they are bored with winning. The threes rain down like water and still they surge to victory. Feel our WRATH Kentucky. We are THE ONE.
The idea doesn't work in reverse, though. The teams that play on Wednesday play a team that had the same amount of rest they had. All teams play on Saturday, so whether you play on Tuesday or Wednesday, you and the team you play that night both had the same amount of days off between games.Teams that play on Wednesday have the advantage because they have an extra day of rest after playing on Saturday. Jeesh, how is this even debatable. And wgas anyway.
Absolutely am. I’m 38 and I can’t remember a time that I have felt as excited and as confident about Tennessee basketball as I do this season. Sure, we’ve had some good teams that have been a lot of fun to watch, but this team plays with more unity and fortitude than any team I can remember since I have been able to comprehend Tennessee basketball. Who knows how long it will be before we experience this quality again. Better enjoy it while we can! Most fun I've had in any season watching 40+ years. Hope yall are enjoying it as much as i am.
You know what’s crazy though? If you read their boards they are mistreated by the league, the ncaa and espn. They believe they never get the benefit of the calls even at their place!! And if anyone ever beats them it’s because of a combination of the refs screwing them/the other team playing their best game because it’s Kentucky and they are everyone’s Super Bowl. I swear Kentucky fans have to be the most out of touch with reality/elitist pricks I have ever witnessed. They have to keep the "blue bloods" happy. I don't think it will matter. Our team will be laser focused come Saturday night
If they are like the cat fans I know we could beat them by 50 and it wouldn’t shut them up. Inevitably we would have only won because the refs screwed them and we played over our heads because we were playing all mighty Kentucky and they are the only program in the country that matters!! Seriously this is how most of them think.I have a co-worker that's the same way. Funny, he didn't have much to say on Wednesday. Hopefully, he'll have even less to say next week.
If Kentucky is making 3s we could be in trouble. But if they're not and hitting the board hard we better be ready to team rebound.
