Did SEC stack the schedule for Kentucky?

I’ll say win or lose, Admiral puts up a career high in points, mostly from the 3 point line

If the other teams' schedules were random, UK's Saturday opponent would have a 6/12 or 50% chance of playing on Wednesday. It's not 6/13, because one of those 13 teams is playing against UK on Tuesday. And, this impacts eight weeks, not nine, because everyone began SEC play on a Saturday, so that first Saturday when UK lost at Bama is not part of this.

Yeah I brought that up over there too but didnt feel like quoting every post

Williams and Schofield crash the boards hard after hearing all week that Kentucky does it better

40&25 from the pair (20&12.5 each)

Barnes is yet again magical in his adjustments and the Vols Win 87-80

The refs. owe Kentucky due to a blown call that would have put them in overtime. As another poster said, playing in corRUPPt Arena with the RUPParees it is highly doubtful that it will be called fairly. There is always home cooking when you play in Kentucky.
On SEC Now, they said the only thing they could review was if the time had expired before the tip, but couldn't review if the ball was over the cylinder.

You want BOLD?
Our Vols are like Neo fighting Mr smith in the matrix. One hand by his side blocking and punching with one hand and then the kick to the stomach that sends him sprawling against the wall. They hold out their hands and bullets fall to the ground. They dominate teams even when they are bored with winning. The threes rain down like water and still they surge to victory. Feel our WRATH Kentucky. We are THE ONE.

If Kentucky is making 3s we could be in trouble. But if they're not and hitting the board hard we better be ready to team rebound.
This, if we contain Herro, I think we win by 10 at least. If he goes off or gets hot at any point, it could be a long night. The positive is that this game isn’t a must-win for us other than for our own pride. When UK comes to Kville, they may have their brakes blown off.

Matrix reference wins the internet today. 😂

There's always a bit of home cooking at any venue, pressure from coaches and fans. It's just what it is, so expect some of that.
We need Bowden, Turner and Admiral to hit three + from the three zone. Bone slashing to the basket.
If the game plan is to live in the paint for scores the fouls will add up quickly.

Teams that play on Wednesday have the advantage because they have an extra day of rest after playing on Saturday. Jeesh, how is this even debatable. And wgas anyway.
The idea doesn't work in reverse, though. The teams that play on Wednesday play a team that had the same amount of rest they had. All teams play on Saturday, so whether you play on Tuesday or Wednesday, you and the team you play that night both had the same amount of days off between games.

The "advantage", however large or small, comes for the Saturday games because a team that played on Tuesday has a theoretical one day advantage over a team that played on Wednesday. Again, because ALL teams play on Saturday.

And as I said before, one instance of it probably makes little to no difference. But to have that advantage, howeverr large or small it is, over the course of an entire season is suspect, to say the least.

I'm heading up to Rupp for the first time. I just hope its not a double bonus with 10 mins remaining type of game. I will say I am very confident going into this one. As a long term Tennessee fan this feeling is quite odd, but I just think we're that good.

Yes, but all the teams did. No one had an advantage.
Looking at from a conditioning standpoint. I don't think "that" will be an issue tomorrow night.

Plus, it's basketball. I'm pretty sure both teams know what the other's strengths & weaknesses are.

Most fun I've had in any season watching 40+ years. Hope yall are enjoying it as much as i am.
Absolutely am. I’m 38 and I can’t remember a time that I have felt as excited and as confident about Tennessee basketball as I do this season. Sure, we’ve had some good teams that have been a lot of fun to watch, but this team plays with more unity and fortitude than any team I can remember since I have been able to comprehend Tennessee basketball. Who knows how long it will be before we experience this quality again. Better enjoy it while we can!

They have to keep the "blue bloods" happy. I don't think it will matter. Our team will be laser focused come Saturday night
You know what’s crazy though? If you read their boards they are mistreated by the league, the ncaa and espn. They believe they never get the benefit of the calls even at their place!! And if anyone ever beats them it’s because of a combination of the refs screwing them/the other team playing their best game because it’s Kentucky and they are everyone’s Super Bowl. I swear Kentucky fans have to be the most out of touch with reality/elitist pricks I have ever witnessed.

I have a co-worker that's the same way. Funny, he didn't have much to say on Wednesday. Hopefully, he'll have even less to say next week.
If they are like the cat fans I know we could beat them by 50 and it wouldn’t shut them up. Inevitably we would have only won because the refs screwed them and we played over our heads because we were playing all mighty Kentucky and they are the only program in the country that matters!! Seriously this is how most of them think.

I have a neighbor who has UK license plates, UK pajamas when he brings his kids out to meet the school bus and UK clothing on almost every time I see him out while I'm walking the dog. I used to wave and say hello, but he has never responded so I don't bother anymore. I enjoy walking the dog in front of his house and making his dogs bark and scratch at the front door. If we win I may wear orange when I walk the dog past his house. Here's hoping we beat the cat crap out of those arrogant SOBs

I’ll get things started. If...IF the game is officiated fairly, (predicting this would be a bold prediction in its own right of course ) UT wins by 16 points minimum.

What do you guys have?

Vols stomp a mudhole in that Cat ass and walk it dry

Hero is streaky, and the point guard can't shoot. Need to play off the PG to keep him from penetrating and dishing. Washington actually has the best 3 pt %, but doesn't shoot many. Keep playing the way they have been and Vols should come out on top.
