Did Saban show a little respect/class

Too many crazy things can happen if you screw around and try and rub it in on a team you only lead by one score. Pick six or fumble for a td and Saban would look like tool and the pitchforks come out in Tuscaloosa.

Not a class or respect thing, if it was he wouldn't have credited the game being close to his team playing bad.

Didn't give any credit to Tennessee. Who cares what that little troll thinks. It's not like he's been beating good UT teams all these years. He's had the benefit of the worst stretch of Tennessee football teams i can remember.

Winning nine straight over any SEC team other than Vandy or KY is a major accomplishment. And yes, UT has been down, but Saban has the best record of any coach in America in terms of wins over top 10 and top 25 teams during his tenure at Bama. And he did give UT credit in his news conference. Go back and listen to the recording. Props to Tenn for a great game yesterday. The Vols should have a lot better record than they have right now.

It's both. Did you guys not see him tell kiffin no when they got the ball. Kiffin wanted to run the offense and saban said no

This was the best Team he's played in those 9 years. Including the one he mud stomped that backed their way into the SEC championship game. He'll get no more easy ones against this team for a while. If he sticks around. Guy looks feed up and i wouldn't be surprised if he high tales it out of there this year. That team isn't good enough offensively i don't think to win it all. The Bama fans are unrealistic as it comes about season to season expectations. Got to be wearing on him a little bit.

I think deep down Saban didn't give credit like y'all want because he knows that their defensive backfield was fingertips away from...what...4 picks? And they got none of them? The game could have, and probably should have, been far more in their favor. So he's angry about his team's ineptitude at securing interceptions. It's not Tennessee's success that forced those picks (except the one forced by Jauan)

No, not even right! One way uncatchable, one knocked out by UT, one just out of reach of our receiver or likely would have been a TD for UT on that drive. We also just missed TD on first drive. The vols could have easily had 17 more points just as easy as Bama coulda had 3 picks! And holding the ball was just smart given things could go wrong aka michigan! No respect given be Saban he just said they were slow and tired! They haven't played as many tough games as we have that's BS also. You get a whole frickin week between foorball games - that is not a reason! He know's we're coming and he doesn't want us to - you can bank on that!

Amen. On the one hand, if he had jammed another TD in, about 100 other NCAA coaches in this country would have said privately that he is the biggest jerk ever. But on the other hand, he could have jammed it in....give him some credit for a little class, right? It's not like they were 12 points better than us.

You really think Nick Saban gives a **** what 100 NCAA coaches say about him, don't you?

Had nothing to do with respect or class it's just the right play at that point in the game..... 99% of the coaches would've done that...

Yeah I had a season ticket holder Alabama fan iwho was at the game this morning at church tell me it was because Bama just does not play well at home Iand they played really bad...I kindly toldl him those five sacks might of had a little something to do with that..,,

That's probably just Kiffin doing his job and getting a play ready. Saban did what a HC is supposed to do and took the victory

Saban showed how little class he had in 2011. They were up 37-6 with around 3 minutes to go in the game and should have kicked a field goal on 4th and goal from the 2. Instead he tried to run up the score and went for it. Up 37-6 he went for it? There would have been no difference to the pollsters if they had won 40-6 or 44-6 but he went for it! He is a classless jerk!

meh....he's regressing....didn't step on the throat and went conservative...kicked a FG from the 2 when he has that battering ram Henry to punch it in...not a good coach anymore.

Not true. Saban said this in his news conference after the game: "Tennessee's team is a really, really good team. They've lost three or four games really close, really tough."

The interview immediately after the game not his news conference. The news conference was later and it is always scripted coach speak.

In his after game interview he never even mentioned UT on great game nothing just that they were tired and did not play well at all and were looking forward to an off week.
He is an A**

I agree. If Tennessee makes the field goal against Florida, Tennessee gets a rematch against the cheating tide. I would like Tennessee's chances in another game.

I am already feeling good about next year.

Hugh Freeze didnt take a knee last year so I was really expecting Saban to try and run a play there. This has nothing to do with Madden or anything like it, just seemed out of character for Nick Saban/Lane Kiffen.

What was ole miss protecting last season

there was this play that Herm Edwards was really glad the Giants ran the ball...instead of taking a knee
