Did Kiffin Make A Mistake By Letting Coleman Get Away?

Well, you can debate BJ's and Cromptons skill level all you want. But I'm just going to sit back and enjoy both BJ and Crompton this year.

BJ is going to help my poor old Alma Mater get re-energized and back to worth watching again.

I've been a Crompton basher for years, but I get a warm feeling that he's going to respond to the new atitude and finally come into his own and actually show poise.

Isn't revitalization a wonderful thing!

I do not think it is that fact that he left that causes such reaction, many players leave never to be discussed again. I think the way he left (comments made to the media) rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

He made a mistake. He's 21 and his interview lasted about 2 minutes too long. He said he thought he was the better QB and wasn't getting a fair shake; hardly an indictment of UT or the program. Give the kid a break. He gets a chance to start and resurrect a moribund program. Had Crompton been at same place in his college career when the regime change happened, he might have done the exact same thing.

Piss on BJ Coleman.

He took his ball and went home. Enjoy being a pinata against Bama's defense.

No, keep in mind two different coaching staffs didn't think he was good enough to start.

Coleman destroyed Hargrave last year...lets give him some Heisman consideration.

If Kiffin thought BJ was the best man for the system then he would still be suiting up in orange on saturdays... We have to move on and stick behind the guys we have... I think the system fits crompton pretty well.
