Hyams should have been fired and banned from the media the moment he broke the TK Jr. story. Completely classless and he has proven he'll do anything for clicks. He's a terrible excuse for journalism these days and his washed up old ass needs to put down the keyboard.

Someone recently described Hyams as a "gumshoe reporter". I had to look that term up and it seems to fit. I can imagine him sneaking around trying to scoop a story AND TYPING AN ARTICLE FOR A NEWSPAPER. He is not nor has he ever had a radio personality. I remember when he was a journalist for the Sentinel and I thought his articles were decent. His radio presence, however, is arrogant at times, boring the rest. To think AM990 lost Mike Keith and got JH. SMH

That’s a good one. I kind of like hyams. Thought he was a good sports writer for sentinel when it actually was a real newspaper. Now it’s a cut and paste publication. Hyams got out before it deteriorated to a sorry mess,

I don't have a problem with him. When I lived in Knoxville I looked forward to John and Jimmy every day on the ride home. Micky Dearstone was the guy I couldn't stand.

What I find funny is that his reporting is most times more accurate than the so called insiders here on VN. The same ones that give him hell. The same ones that are always saying book it, fact, soon, etc.
