Did fans chant F U florida?

This was apparently not unwarranted as one or more of the Florida players were taunting and then actually threw ice water into the student section. Also from what I've read it was in fact started by the student section and not the whole stadium.
I noticed at one point during the game it showed the Florida bench and a woman ran over ushering Florida players away from the stands.

Our players were jackasses and walked through the cheerleaders back to the bench after the INT. She was trying to get them out of the way. I don't blame her

I was wondering if that might be it. She looked mad as heck on tv.

Neiron Ball and Keanu Neal are really good kids so I know they felt bad. I feel like Antonio Morrison didn't care (he's not very nice)

Well much like our student section that started the F U chants they're college students caught up in emotion of a close rivalry game. It doesn't bother me too much. Now I do feel like Muschamp's comments were just a cheap shot. I generally hold Middle Aged adult men who are suppose to represent a program to a higher standard than college kids. Just my opinion tho.

I don't understand why everyone is upset by Muschamp remarking that he's happy to disappoint rival fans. I didn't really see it as classless, but I guess that's just me.

It just shows a lack of professionalism imo. He just won the game and it wasn't necessary to either rub it in or call out the fan base. My guess is that his comment was most likely fueled by the emotions from the chant, or maybe he's just a douche in real life, but regardless as an SEC coach you should take the higher moral ground.

Why as a Florida player would you start anything with the crowd? If you were a member of the Florida coaching staff wouldn't you discourage your team from behavior like that?

If it was anyone but Muschamp(well besides Suprrier and maybe Kiffin) I would think it was just heat of the moment because of the chant but yeah I think he's just a douche and despite the fact he beat us he is a douche who will be looking for a job at the end of the year most likely.

He said the same thing when we beat TAMU. He just likes to have some fun with the opposing fans. I wouldn't have taken it too badly if Butch said the same thing in the Swamp.

I don't think any of our players were doing things to the crowd, and if they were, Muschamp would have definitely taken the opportunity to yell at them (if he noticed). All I noticed was that our players ended up walking through the cheerleaders on their way back to the bench, and their attention was not directed at the crowd.

I'm fairly sure Butch wouldn't say anything like that.

For what it's worth, allegedly it was Fowler Jr. that threw the ice water into the crowd.

What I learned today... Tennessee is a leading manufacturer in wet blankets that are afraid of a word, as if hearing said word leads to rape and murder. People get emotional, and they curse. Get off your high horse.

We were all thinking it in the forth quarter

No some people have class. I never thought of saying that. I wasn't drunk either. My dad took me to a bama game when I was 10, afterwards he told me we would never go back until I grown up due to the idiocy that we witnessed. The reason I wnot take my family. They are not old enough.

I'm not telling you not to curse. I've done it too -albeit not into a field mic so a million people can hear it. I'm just telling you that this particular instance at that particular time made us look stupid.

If that feels like high horse behavior, get yourself a taller horse.

Let me say this since like I said before I was there yesterday, Fowler Jr. takes his cup of ice
Water and throws it at the student section, Debose was waving and taunting the crowd in the end zone everytime he was gonna return a kick, when Florida won, several players slam dunked on the goal post as they were exiting the field, it wasn't just the student section chanting **** You, it was the whole stadium. Florida deserved it, especially for all the times*after the whistle and their cheap ass athletes would get a shove in. SO YES **** YOU FLORIDA

I was there yesterday and it was embarrassing as a fan. We should have more class than that. I was as angry as anyone with the loss but to turn around and tell the fans of an opposing team, that you don't know from anyone, "F you" then it shows a lack of integrity.

Long as we've been going the students have done that specific chant- yesterday soon as it started they tried to drown it out with speaker music.. and I've never understood why people take their children to a big game like that and expect everyone around them to act perfect- it is what it was whether it was classy or not.. kids are going to hear things, even in their own home, faint!

For those at the game, did the fans actually start chanting f*** you florida?

Yep and I'm extremely embarrassed by it! EVERYONE's fanbase has always complemented to me about their experience at a UT game that our fans are great and very classy win or lose! This was an all time low IMO. I've been going to games since 1972 and have experienced games that we should win but didn't. No excuse for this behaviour!

I am less disappointed by the chant than I am the play on the field. The latter was FAR more obscene.

I think we have some mistakes to correct .Im sure the team will work on theirs . I only hope the fans work on theirs. Passion can cause these types of mistakes on and off the field. I was one chanting and at the moment it seemed right but looking back I embarrassed myself , fellow fans and team. I apologize to you all.

you guys would've been crying in a corner at Gainesville when we couldn't block Alex Brown. I always wondered how bad it would be if we had actually won.
When you jump a curb and run over a tree to get away from crazed UF students trying to tip you over, holla.
