I missed my grandfathers funereal for a little league baseball game. My parents were fine with it, after the funereal ended my whole family came to watch the end of the game. I also missed prom because of a American Legion game. My point is if you make a commitment to play a sport you should be there at all cost.
Dont know even how to respond to this. Trying not to be cold but dang i left plebe summer for 2 days at the Naval Academy to go to my grandpas funeral.

That is the most pathetic thing i have ever read. Really? Are you a pro baseball player now? If not, you wasted the opportunity to play a meaningless game such as baseball. :ermm:

News flash different people take different views on death and have different relationships with family members.

For instance I don't do funerals. Period, ever. Won't be having one won't ever go to one. that is my thing and I have always been that way it is not a religious thing it is just my thing. My family gets it so there is that. I have no kids (by choice) so thats not an issue.

Secondly going to someones funeral is not showing respect for that person.. saying so is utter garbage. When you are dead you don't care because you are freaking dead. Mourning is a cultural thing not a religious one and if you don't understand why that is fact then not much can be done to help you.

All that being said, the mattress burners are in offseason form already I see.

Another witch hunt thread. If Dooley needs to go, he needs to go. The mob mentality witch hunt bs is weak sauce though. It's just another format for people to verbally abuse the current HC for the hell of it. It's hard to take some of you serious who continue to show up in these bs threads that have zero truth.

Exactly. The way some of these people act you would think Dooley insulted their mother. It's getting absurd.

Your priorities are in the wrong place. You can't miss one game to pay respect to your Grandfather? Sport aren't near that important.

Attending a funeral shows respect to the persons family.

Just curious, how old are you?

Not true. Young receeved a concussion at USCjr. I actually remember the play.

The 3D cameras showed him looking a little unsteady on the sidelines....anyone else notice that? I think that were really showing dooley but young was standing next to him with back to the field and a trainer was talking to him and he was kinda wobbling

Guess I missed that since I don't have a 3D TV... those 3D cameras most show a lot of things that regular HD cameras don't.
