with all of the subject matter on "family television" in today's day and age, how can this be deemed that offensive? I respect the apology, but in all honesty he made my day by doing his "offensive" actions.

National news can show Gaddafi's killing on tv for all to see yet we hear a curse word and the world is gonna end?! Makes sense :ermm:

I can't believe ESPN made him apologize for it during that commercial break. The guy is 100 yrs old and he had a stroke surely they can understand if something slips out every once and awhile. It makes for great TV. Gameday was boring until that moment

People worry about a cuss word on t.v., but dont get upset when they show hard-on medicine and peter enlargement commercials

WTF!

Problem is the week before he said "where's that little kid" when showing penn st's huddle before the NU game. He's slipping and will be gone soon.

He is an icon on there, they know it's an adventure with him each week. They will just extend the delay from here on. Personnally, I loved it, the expression on Kirk's face is one I'll never forget.
