They are on the Tenn Tech only roster. Hard to hear that depth is a problem when so many players remain absent from the line up.

It is pretty clear Josh Smith shouldn't be returning kicks. Callaway just returned a punt for a TD last week and you don't even give him a chance this week. Something is wrong with that decision. Butch needs to stop this loyal crap and put the best players on the field... the players we have left that is. Callaway should get a shot at kickoffs and punts IMO.

The only reason why i thought that smith was returing punts , because he was sure handed, and made good decisions. That thought went out the window after yesterday. Go, with the more athletic and fast guy.

Since we don't get full practice reports we will never know ,but to me it is one of 3 things.

1. Poor week of preparation.muffing punts ,blown assignments in etc.

2. Poor coaching decisions

3. Injury.

U nailed it. We have one game to go off of, and the coaches have that and a hundred practices to go off. That's why he didn't return them over Smith yesterday.

How do you know? The other guy could have dropped 2 or 3 and let the rest of them bounce and roll. The next UTAD really needs to replace Butch with one of the VN posters that are so much better at coaching than he is.
