Well... I'll say this. I'm not worried enough to register on a UF board tonight to see what they're talking about over there. Really, I could care less. How about you?
This is what astonishes me. If you're a UF fan, you've got your almost a whole handful of national championships in the last few years in football and basketball. You've got what will be regarded unanimously as the best football team in the country coming back this fall. And yet you're so twisted out of shape over a comment made by a losing team's idiot new coach that you're registering on their message board so that you can trash-talk? What's the point of winning championships if you're going to be so insecure about it?
But here they keep coming, in droves. With comments as predictable as their hair is magnificent.
How did Pete Carroll and USC respond to Jim Harbaugh a few years ago when he took over at Stanford and took a shot at Carroll?
Oh, that's right; they didn't. Because that's what you do when you're on top. The protestations of Kshusha and 5150 notwithstanding, Tennessee got a fair amount of positive publicity out of all this (cf. PTI, Jim Rome), and you can thank Jeremy Foley for that.
What is it in the water in Gainesville that makes obnoxious whinin tools, and further more whats in the water that makes the media push every decibel of it like it's gold?
Meyer has not only shown he is a crybaby, but he is also a snake. He might not have officially broken any rules, but what he did by calling Richardson over and over again while he was taking his official visit to Knoxville was sneaky and just plain wrong. Some things you just don't do out of respect, regardless of whether it's a rule or not. I never had respect for the whiner anyways, but I definitely don't now.

From living in both cities, I can tell you that Gainesville has an energy and excitement that Knoxville just doesn't have. I think it's due to the fact that Gainesville is much more densely populated and has a younger population. Out of 120,000 people, about 70,000 are students. Neyland is by far a better stadium, but the crowds in the Swamp are much more lively. Most Gator fans that I've met here are the typical arrogant fan when they are winning and nowhere to be found when losing. From asking friends, it seems like UF's mentality came from so many years of watching Miami and FSU dominate. They finally got Spurrier who showed some moxy and they all wanted to emulate him. Remember that Spurrier is not above a little whining when not getting his way.
I for one did not.
The guy must whine more than my 3 year old boy. How in the world the first-year, youngest coach in the NCAA make him cry is fascinating.
I wonder if dude wears diapers.
