Did anyone see recruits cheering for the Gators?

I remember seeing them from across the Stadium in R. But it looked like family, not high school age people. I was far away though. I'm guessing 3-4 of them already made up their minds elsewhere but take their visits to get the perks.

Yes he was...the type of top recruit UT is landing that would not even be a back up at UF, UGA, LSU,AU

Ceville Newton? I think that is his name. I would take him everyday of the week over Crompton. He won't play for awhile behind Tebow, I think it could be a good trade of places for both parties?

I believe you are thinking of Cameron Newton, the backup QB at Florida.

Sevelle Newton played at South Carolina a couple years ago. He is gone now.

I sit right behind where I think most of the recruits file in and out during the game... generally where you see Bruce, Pat the Lady Vols and the BB team... I saw a number of young kids that looked like recruits - I DID NOT see anything. I stayed for the whole game. Doesn't mean it didn't happen... but, the lack of evidence is becoming overwhelming at this point.

I kept my eyes on the recruits quite a bit during the game and saw no chomping I just kept wondering if they were as embarrassed by the vols as I was.

Sorry my Spurrier loving friend told me their backup was Cevelle Newton, I just knew it was C. Newton, wasn't going to second guess him, He looked like a stud, I was watching him and Tebow on the sidelines all game because that was better to do than watch the actual game, and he just looks like an athletic Jamarcus Russell type QB that UT needs. and Florida sits.....I want that so bad!

I sit right above the recruits but did not see any chomping. But then again, I left as soon as Crompton ran over to the sideline talking smack (did this not piss anybody else off?).

I did run into Michael and Anthony Munoz as I was leaving the stadium. They were sitting with the recruits. I about said something to them, but we kind of just shook our heads at eachother. Its bad when you have NFL Hall of Famers in attendance sitting with the recruits and they leave during the 4th quarter. I certainly don't blame them, just one of many missed opportunities.

Good for them...and us. Go somewhere else if you don't bleed Orange.

A smart player might look at this and see an opportunity to play. Especially at QB. (Sorry couldn't help myself).

All part of Fulmers' plan....Suck it up for a few years and all the star recruits will come to you so they can shine!!!:good!:
