I have rewatched it a few times. Pay attention to his body language and his demeanor. Usually, even in a loss he is somewhat upbeat and answers questions in his usual manner. Not after the UF game. He was completely different. Reminded me exactly like he acted last year after the South Carolina game. Maybe there are some locker room issues that we don’t know about. Just a thought.
I have no idea if true, you know how everyone has a friend....There's a Vols for Life facebook page. Someone had made a post, a man living in knoxville left a comment. He claims to be friends with the parents of a couple of players, he said that Milton and Mays are having problems.

On the topic of CJH, body language and team issues.

Did anyone notice Mays was one of the first guys in the locker room after the game?

I am not trying to imply that Mays is the problem. So many scenarios as to why he would be in the tunnel first. I would think with the emotions on the field he would be with the team.

Just something I thought was odd.

Heupel is still a relatively young coach. If both sides stick together, he will learn and grow. I do think he has some shortcomings that he is figuring out as he goes, but he is following the same path as many others. I’m confident that he is one of the up and coming greats in this business. He will be fine if we let him do his job. It sucks for those of us who have ridden this wave of despair for so many years, but in reality, there are not a lot like him out there. We are very fortunate to be in this position.

Heupel will want to prove against UTSA that his offense is still capable of hanging 45-50 points on anybody.

He keeps talking about margin of error being really small btw winning and losing. That sounds like something you say when your team isn’t that talented or deep, which I thought we were. Maybe we were all wrong
That actually hit home with me. Two uncalled PIs, barely overthrowing Keaton in the end zone, a ridiculous "blindside block" call nullifying a drive, a moron ref kicking the ball.

We were in the red zone collectively 2 times with zero points. That typically just doesn't happen to a Heupel team.

I thought he was frustrated that he couldn’t play and wanted out of there 😂 that’s my personality too so I would have done the same thing.. he was probably pretty p!ssed about the outcome and knew it wouldn’t be helpful..and probably not too happy with OL performance, but not the best time to lay it all out there

I think its obvious the leaders on this team aren't leading. I really think he is disappointed with the whole team but mostly the lack of maturity and leadership. I felt like that was his message today too. Jmo
IMO the leaders Mays on O and Pili on D are not playing part of the problem.

He was just mad and frustrated. My guess is that it had more to do with things he could not say than things he could. Issues in the locker room might have been some of it. Frustration with specific coaches or players likely had a lot to do with it. And... I'm pretty sure he was hacked off at the officials for their role in the game. His reaction to the crack back call and PI non-call were about as animated as I've seen from him concerning the officials.

There are a lot of reasons for him to be aggravated right now.

I thought he's seemed a little agitated in the last few press conferences, but tough to tell. Hazle's actual statements in his press conference were egregiously bad.

I think he is saying this O may not be capable of putting up 40+ points a game against the good teams which covered a lot of the D's incompetence last season. It showed in the FL game. I think a lot of our games are going to be 4th qtr decided this year. Hope I am wrong and all comes together soon.

Unfortunately there are decades of losing to fall back on for the mentality of the program and several upperclassmen who were here under Pruitt. It’s hard to break a losing mentality

Going on?

You mean like the past 30 years against Florida haha.?

Yeah, Florida owns us. Just like we own Kentucky.

How anyone could deny that at this point is beyond me.

Just because you don't believe don't mean the swamp curse ain't real. Fulmer was the last Vol coach to win there and that win turned out to be Spurrier's last game in the Swamp, he announced his NFL job a few days later. Maybe he put the curse on, ha.

Hyp is just another member of all the Vol coaches who have never won in the Swamp since Fulmer's win. Coincidence? Maybe not!
