Did anyone else see Hurd shove Kerbyson after being thrown for a loss on Kerby's side? Probably won't do any good because he isn't talented enough to turn it up a notch. Kendrick on the other side is even worse. Honestly, we are lucky to have the talent at RB that we do considering they have to get most of it on their own.

Yep, saw it.

I played fullback amd runningback some and I've been there after getting my nose bloodied amd bell rung and my OL standing there with their collective heads up their collective butts...it really pisses a runner off when you are getting drilled and they aren't doing crap to help and every yard comes from your individual effort.

Seent it...good for him trying to lead a group that is in obvious lack of leadership...

First time I've seen Hurd get that mad. Kid is a beast but he's doing most of it on his own effort

Too bad we haven't recruited or coached up our linemen. As good a recruiter as Butch and company are, is it sad that Dooley had better linemen? Better QB's? Now I'm gonna throw up

I saw him yell, not sure he shoved him.

He HAS to be tired of dodging several guys just to get out of his own backfield.

I didn't but was this during the 4th quarter? I noticed when he got drilled he threw his hands up or pointed or something. I was looking at the scoreboard after that play

Hurd can't keep this up. He is getting mauled for every yard he earns in the gaps. When he wears down or gets hurt, goodnight nurse. A one dimension team becoming a zero dimension team will be incredible to watch.

Let's not take it that far. They get a free education at a great university.

I was talking with my wife about if our son was graduating this year and a top high school prospect where we would want him to go or if we would persuade him to choose a school of our liking, while I love the Vols and it would be a dream to see my son play for them, I'd have to let him choose the school that would play him and make him better and if his aspirations were to play in the NFL what coach could get him there, 3 schools in the SEC made my list , 2 made hers, if I told y'all mine is get lynched. You have to understand what these kids want and what they believe in.

I'm not going to buy a dually to tow a Jon boat or a horrid to drive 60 miles to and from work everyday. But how badass would it be have both? And how efficient would it be? Could I still have money to buy bait or keep the muscle car running good? It's all relatable, football to life.

We are playing Hurd in the wrong type of offense. He would be best served in a pro-style with a FB leading the way.

Hurd's got more heart than 90% of the whole team.
Will team 119 end up being the worst Vol squad, they have an excellent start, no?
I love Tennessee Football and have for many many years, but I won't support a team or players that quit and that includes the Vols

We can't blame any of our players for being frustrated and pissed off.

It may be getting close to time to let Dormady get some snaps to see if he can get a passing game going while he runs for his life.

D kids need to learn how to wrap up on tackles instead of just hitting them and bouncing off.

Big changes need to come and fast or we won't even make a bowl game and get the extra 15 practices the kids need or the bowl game money that UT so badly needs.

VFL...GBO!!!

I re-watched the game on DVR (went to that disaster I person unfortunately) and couldn't find the Hurd-Kerby incident. I'm sure it occurred but I wasn't able to locate it on film. You could see the angst in the players and coaches during the fourth 😞
