I saw an interview with CPF Saturday before the game, it looked like it was done in the tunnel or just outside of the locker room. He was still wearing a suit and tie so I assume it was taped as they arrived at the stadium. I know that CPF is not a rah rah guy, but he seemed lethargic. He kinda looked like someone had just ran over his dog. Did anyone else notice this? I did not start this as a CPF debate, but his demeanor during the interview gave me a bad feeling.

I have mentioned that very interview twice. He was interviewed by Dave Neal and I posted in the game thread at that moment that Fulmer looked to be missing energy.

It was a bad omen.

He had just got off the phone with Vince McMahon who informed him the Vols were scripted to lose.

I wish we had a coach that could do cartwheels and "yee-hah'd" like Howard Dean.

He seemed really nervous when LF interviewed him at the beginning of the second half. I thought it was very strange and even my wife picked up on it (which usually a flying dinosaur has to fly into a stadium and take a dump at midfield for her to notice anything out of place).

would definitely have been better than the Deanna Carter halftime show a few weeks back.

I was telling somebody last week, I was wedged among the crowd on the concourse behind Section W where I couldn't see what was going on at halftime and I actually thought to myself "Who is that doing the bad karaoke of Deana Carter?"

Why is it that all the coaches dress alike except for Trooper?

i noticed the same thing and believe that it has been going on for a while.

when CPF was hired i questioned the decision, but one thing that i liked about him was he was always upbeat and positive. the last couple of years he is definitely different -- actually kind of morose. i don't know if this is because of the problems with the football program, or perhaps the cause of some of the problems.

some people motivate positively, and others motivate negatively (pat summitt says that she decides what would be best for each individual player and then uses whatever is appropriate). i've always believed that CPF was a positive motivator type. he seems to have changed recently, perhaps due to criticism. my guess is that he is going to be less effective like that since it is not his "style."

It was bad, I wanted the band to march instead of that crap.
