If you did and actually thought the D was going to hold up against Bama then you're delusional.
Injuries aren't an excuse they're a reality....
Next man up!..... right?

Our team is gassed and beat up. They poured every ounce of their souls out for 6 games. We hit E playing Bama. I hate it for the team. I am still very proud of them and any of you jumping now GTFO when we are in ATL with the lead.

I think 99.9% of us recognize the impact of the injuries. The last three games it was easy to look and things and think that if we'd just have a couple more guys in there we could've iced the game without taking it to the wire. This week we just looked like we weren't in the same league as Bama. Bama didn't do anything complicated, just lined up and stuffed it down our throats for the most part. I don't think the coaches got out schemed and I don't think our guys didn't give their all. I just think we need better players going forward if we're going to win the SEC again any time soon and it needs to start with the 2017 class. When I look at the average player rating of or commits and those of most of the schools standing between us and a championship I see a wide disparity. Somehow, that gap has to be closed.

Maybe if this team played to its potential vs Appy and Ohio we could have rested those starters and some of those injuries wouldn't have occurred. Getting gassed is what happens when you pretty much have to come back every single game.

If you are complaining, then no, you don't understand.

We are playing third string linebackers against Bama. wtf did most of you think was going to happen?

No Bama slammed it at our depleted LB'S corp. Slammed it at a team that has been fighting for it's life for 6 weeks. It was a poor showing by 120. But if they crammed 6 games worth of bad into one game it mine as well be this one.

I don't think the talent gap is as wide as it looked today. Last year's game could have gone either way, and that was on the road. I think a combination of injuries and this brutal stretch of schedule took its toll. All that said, there's still clearly a talent gap.

This team finally ran out of steam. Hard to watch for such a tough group.

Yeah..., playing FLA, GA,ATM and Bama in consecutive weeks had nothing to do with it.

Ungrateful

How is it ungrateful to say that this team hasn't played to its full potential? This team has given fans some great come from behind wins but do honestly believe that those come from behind wins hasn't also taken an emotional and physical toll on the team too?

They did hold up well for one half and only gave up 14 points in the first. But the offense kept them on the field too long. There were way too many three and outs. The offense was the problem today. Defense did a good job early on and played well enough to win, but they needed breaks and that almost never happened.

First half was not that bad. But our offense didn't help the defense at all. We just kept the on the field way too much. Get some rest and let's win out and hope that the gators get another loss or two. I sure do hope so, cause I can't stand either gators or Bammers!

I hope TAMU finds a way to stuff bama. I would much rather have play TAMU again than bama

Even if we had been 100% healthy, I don't think it would make much difference. I just don't understand why there is such a significant talent gap. Are there PEDs in the water down there?
