To answer the earlier question, this will not have an impact on Florida, as a team. Both are first rounders. Noah doesn't care if Horford goes ahead of him.

What it will do, however, is guarantee that Vitale has no more inside info on our team or what Donovan thinks of anything. Vitale is cut off.

I don't think it is a question of whether or not Noah cares if Horford goes ahead of him, but the fact that his head coach told someone that if the NBA took Noah over Horford the were making a huge mistake. I can imagine that Noah wouldn't take to kindly to that.

Well, if anything, this should give Noah extra motivation...he may feel as though he has something extra to prove to his coach.

Either way, I'm sure it's a relief to him that CJ Watson won't be around to chip any more of his teeth tonight.

:lolabove: You're right...no CJ Watson to knock him around!

But he does have a coach that'll throw 'em under the bus!:dance2:

 Steely Dan forever!

I actually have the Donald Fagen *instructional DVD* that breaks down the music theory for this song. Yes, I am a music nerd. Lawgator, if you're into that sort of thing:

Thanks for the link. Sadly, I have no musical talent whatsoever. My ability lies in watching the SD site for new shows being announced and then pouncing on tix to the ones down this way.

They've got four now in May down here, including one on May 12 right here in Otown. Yes I'd love to tour the Southland, in a traveling minstral show. Yes I'd love to be a star, and make them laugh, sound just like a record, on a phonograph. But those days are gone forever, over along time ago ...

Have you been introduced yet to the Yacht Rock series of mockumentaries? If not, go watch them you must:

Welcome to Yacht Rock!

I'll check it out. Spinal Tap, however, is the best I've ever seen. Can't imagine anyone topping that.

Requires Quick Time and my IT folks here would blow a gasket if I ever tried to add anything to the system myself. I may have to do this at home, later.

At any rate, have you ever caught SD live? I think we discussed this before, because I remember mentioning a possible Chastain show for them this summer. If you've not seen them, I highly recommend it. Very complicated guys and very excellent musicianship -- even for those of us who don't necessarily know any better.

Nope, but I'd like to go this year. If they don't show a Chastain date soon, I'm tempted to get tix for the Clearwater show, as I have some business contacts down there.

I have been told by several different folks that Ruth Eckerd Hall is an excellent place to see a band, particularly one that emphasizes the music over the production. Apparently the acoustics there are considered by those in the know to be especially good.

I am not in the know. But I know people who are.
