Dooley interviewed him two years ago and hired wilcox. Dooley said last week we have to use this chance to improve. I'm not sure this would be an upgrade over wilcox.

I am not sure what kind of recruiter this guy is or can be at Tennessee, but TCU has had some really solid defenses the last five or six years. I hope the Vols settle on him and hire a good linebacker coach who can recruit.

I think wilcox did a very good job this year with the players we had. Was bumpus considered by Texas last year when they were looking for a dc?
