Diarrhea -vs- Constipation

I would take diarrhea over constipation any day and I think anyone else who struggles with constipation would agree with me. One time on a church trip I didn't take a dump for 11 days. Being constipated is just miserable. If you had to choose one to have, which would you pick?

Diarrhea is a major cause of death in much of the world, particularly in developing nations, where the effect is greatest among the young. The World Health Organization (WHO) attributes 3.5 million deaths a year to diarrhea...

I'll take constipation.

I think they are talking about poor ethopians (sp?) etc. who don't have access to Diarreah stopping pills and can't get ahold of electrolyte (sp?) containing drinks.
