How are you guys liking it on PS4? They just recently released ladders, greater rifts, and a few other things on PC...on top of that, I feel like they buffed the ever living hell out of my 2h weapons on my crusader...I love it.

everything I've read suggests the console version is the best version of the game to date. Very few bugs and plays more like an action game than the PC version due to the ability to use the analog sticks instead of mouse clicking for movement.

I've not played the PC version so I can't really offer a direct comparison.

Looks gorgeous.

The only thing that kinda stinks is that there is no auction house for console players...

you can get to level 10 in about an hour - most of us have multiple characters and can roll with our lower level guys when you're on

We don't have an AH anymore either. They took it out with Reaper and whether or not its the best version is a subjective thing. Honestly, I couldn't picture playing Diablo with a controller. Its just not Diablo to me, but the local multiplayer party game feel is cool. I logged on and did some rifts last night on my Crusader and was blazing through Torment 3 since they buffed 2h weapons and I have some really good 2 handers sitting in my stash. Might Try T4 or T5 tonight.

EDIT: If you played D3 on PS3 or 360 and got Reaper of Souls on PS4 or Xbone, did you get to keep your original Character?

The answer to the last part is yes.

I know this is a PS4 discussion, but I am a long time D3 player on PC and I just wanted to say I am glad you guys are having a good time with it. I haven't been playing much lately due to time but when I do find time I have a blast. Will probably pick it up again in the near future.... hopefully they have done something to fix the terrible set bonuses on some of the high end monk stuff.

This game is so dang addicting. Can't stop playing it. SWIL jumped in my game and we owned about 1000 enemies and slayed The Butcher. Also, thanks for the legendary sword Freak! It was way better than anything I had gotten so far.

I'll have to rent Diablo again sometime soon. A crazy workweek and the hackers screwed up my experience with this game.

Crafting is a super easy way to get really nice pieces of gear right at your level. Instead of selling all your surplus gear to merchants, go to the blacksmith and melt it all down for ingredients.

After that, it's as simple as training for the items you want at your level and crafting them.

If you are willing to sacrifice legendary items you've outgrown, you can make some truely powerful shizz.

I've never played Diablo but the reviews are strong on this one.

Yeah no joke.

I use Game Rankings.com, and according to them Diablo 3 for PC was fairly mediocre.

Yet it gets released for the consoles and somehow becomes a remarkable game....

Vanilla Diablo 3 for pc was marred with release issues and an end game that turned it into auction house tycoon 2012. The ARPG market on PC is also a lot more Competitive than it was when D2 and it's expansion released. Path of exile and torchlight 2 are both incredible games and much cheaper than Diablo 3. Path of exile is actually free to play and not pay to win at all.

The project lead was relieved of Duty and reaper of souls fixed a lot of the issues that pc players had with the base game: including getting rid of the auction house.

I just typed out a long message that got devoured by the crappy cell connection monster, but it echoed a lot of these sentiments. The one other thing I would add is that D3 and D2 are quite different games. Both action rpgs, yes, but very different systems and game mechanics. Old schoolers who wanted D2 v3 were greatly disappointed... and hell hath no rage like a disappointed nerd. A disappointed nerd who had waited ten years for his favorite franchise to reboot.

All that isn't to say that vanilla D3 didn't have valid things to be critical of.... I just never got why people were mad they didn't get an updated D2 in D3. As someone who has put in thousands (I have a 60 of every class and all but 2 at 70) of hours in D3 + RoS I can safely say I got good value out of my ~$100.

Also wanted to second the notion that both PoE and T2 are excellent games. I haven't played a ton of PoE but I thought highly enough of what I did play to go drop $20 just to support the devs. T2 I played much more extensively and I adore it. Got it on a Steam sale for 9.99 and was well worth it... prob get it on sale cheaper now if any of you guys play PC games.
