How are you guys liking it on PS4? They just recently released ladders, greater rifts, and a few other things on PC...on top of that, I feel like they buffed the ever living hell out of my 2h weapons on my crusader...I love it.
everything I've read suggests the console version is the best version of the game to date. Very few bugs and plays more like an action game than the PC version due to the ability to use the analog sticks instead of mouse clicking for movement.
I've not played the PC version so I can't really offer a direct comparison.
Looks gorgeous.
The only thing that kinda stinks is that there is no auction house for console players...
The answer to the last part is yes.We don't have an AH anymore either. They took it out with Reaper and whether or not its the best version is a subjective thing. Honestly, I couldn't picture playing Diablo with a controller. Its just not Diablo to me, but the local multiplayer party game feel is cool. I logged on and did some rifts last night on my Crusader and was blazing through Torment 3 since they buffed 2h weapons and I have some really good 2 handers sitting in my stash. Might Try T4 or T5 tonight.
EDIT: If you played D3 on PS3 or 360 and got Reaper of Souls on PS4 or Xbone, did you get to keep your original Character?
Yeah no joke.
I use Game Rankings.com, and according to them Diablo 3 for PC was fairly mediocre.
Yet it gets released for the consoles and somehow becomes a remarkable game....
Vanilla Diablo 3 for pc was marred with release issues and an end game that turned it into auction house tycoon 2012. The ARPG market on PC is also a lot more Competitive than it was when D2 and it's expansion released. Path of exile and torchlight 2 are both incredible games and much cheaper than Diablo 3. Path of exile is actually free to play and not pay to win at all.
The project lead was relieved of Duty and reaper of souls fixed a lot of the issues that pc players had with the base game: including getting rid of the auction house.

Also wanted to second the notion that both PoE and T2 are excellent games. I haven't played a ton of PoE but I thought highly enough of what I did play to go drop $20 just to support the devs. T2 I played much more extensively and I adore it. Got it on a Steam sale for 9.99 and was well worth it... prob get it on sale cheaper now if any of you guys play PC games.
