Young is the most exciting returner we have had in the last 5-7 years. I really look forward to kick returns and punt returns now. He will break one for a TD soon.

True freshman looking that good vs LSU we have a bright road ahead with this kid. And to the moron saying he should have ran it out at half glad your not any way associated with the coaching staff. Smart play IMO

I can't wait to see what he does later on in his career. He has that elite quick step that will get him into open space more often as he gets more touches.

A lot of posters on Volnation are going to have to eat some crow. He is one of the best recruits of the 2011 class and probably had more negative things said about him in the recruiting forums than any othe recruit.
He is a prime example of why we need to have faith in our coaches evaluating talent.

Through his first three games, it looks like it was a great use of a scholarship. I am really pulling for this local kid, and I think his future is bright. Where are all the people saying it was a waste of a scholarship now?

he is going to make a great return guy,but the only he is going to make it in the backfield is if we can start blocking on the edges.would like to see them use him in some screens and more shovel passes.

Have we revoked this guy's scholarship yet? We need some players who can play. Political, IMO. Too small, weak competition. Can't do anything against SEC speed.

I was wanting to bump this too. I think this thread will be bumped a lot over the next four years.

IMO, he is making the most impact of all of the signees (apologies to AJ and Curt who are learning on the fly and doing a great job)

Im happy d young has amped up our return units tho

He is proving a lot of folks wrong already, and he has a lot of impoving to do. I like his enthusiasm, too; that can be good for the rest of the freshman who may or may not be on the field.

I think our future is real bright with alot of these guys, and we still haven't seen half of them!

Would love for it to happen sooner rather than later, but I believe he will take one to the house against Kentucky.

these crazy fans love to annoint a local kid when they want to...the kid has had on ok run during the game and maybe 3 solid returns...add to that about 5 returns that were nothing special...1 fumble on a return and 1 return near the half where he should have ran but decided to kneel in endone...I will not say anything bad about the kid because he is doing is job but he is not doing anything too crazy even though everyone is jocking off of him...return a couple to the house in big games or quit thinking this kid is Devin Hester

well just looked at the stats and he is averaging a whoping 4 more yards than darick on kick returns...people were mad when anyone else other than young was returning kicks...im so glad that 4 yards is drastically improving things...its showing up for us on the scoreboard...LOL

he has a long of 60...so that one good return is giving him his yardage avergae difference...too bad that came in a loss...LOL

the kid is a solid returner...nothing more..nothing less...i guess when your season is going this bad and a local kid gets on the field its all people can talk about or try to pump them up as the world's greatest...just because marlin lane was terrible at returns doesnt mean young is great because he is average...LOL
