Does anyone else think that this guy was a wasted talent at Miami? I remember when he was a Fr. or So., can't remember which, Coker would put him in at RB and WR some and he would make some amazing plays. I think that if Coker had a clue, Hester could have been very effective in a role much like Reggie Bush (I know that is an over used comparison, but I think it is adequate in this situation). Thoughts?

the returns he had in college looked like he was playing against a pee wee team

Thought he would be a bust in the NFL. For two seasons during Miami, he was very similar to Ted Ginn. Hyped to enormous level then proceeded to have a pretty quiet season. Man, did he blow up.

I remember a game against NCST when he returned a kick for a TD and he was at the NCST 40 before anyone even realized that he was past them. They guy has some serious speed. I would be interested to see what his 40 time is.

Like they used to say about Deion Sanders, Hester is faster than anybody that's chasing him.

Titan homer here. I believe PacMan had more return yards at season's end than Hester. Hester's good, don't get me wrong, but Pac knows how to run with the ball too.

brought to you by the NFL department of equal love...

Pac is gonna be reaaallly good for years. He is a punt return specialist, hester is a KO return specialist.

The only thing holding Pacman back is that nasty habit of acting like a juvenile deliquent occasionally. Once he grows up, which I think he did a little bit this past season, he can (hopefully) be great.

k, he didnt return more than pacman so pac is the punt return guy and hester is the kick return guy

I don't think Hester was utilized for the entire year. Also, I think a lot of teams really strategized to keep the ball away from Hester. Pac Man is probably the second best returner, but I don't think after the season Hester had that anyone can claim to be better.

Hester is definitely the best returner.

I take Pacman second, but the titans need a baby sitter to keep him out of trouble.

I can't believe he is listed at running the 40 in 4.51. I would have bet everything I own that he would have been much quicker than that.

I would say there is a 90% chance that he runs faster than that. Maybe he starts jogging at the end. (like I think he did in the super bowl)

I think it was ESPN magazine that said a few years ago that he ran a 4.28. I find that much more believable, because he looks faster than pretty much everyone else out there just watching him. (until the end when he just coasts in)

Yeah, at 4.51 I would have expected him to throw in a hand spring or two at the end. Those south Florida kids are fast.
