A couple questions. 1) I seem to be stuck at lvl 32. I have only found better equipment with Xur and then in the reef. Are those my only two options? I have had a heck of a time trying to run the higher poes to get a core. 2)what are the trials and how do I get in them? I see you have to have group and the ticket in, but don't know where to go afterwards, and I don't know of it is even worth it. I am not good at PvP so it seems like the worst way to get better gear. Never picked up a decent item in the crucible. My best bet has been hunting wolves and leveling my status with different groups bc I get decent pieces out of that every once in the while. Sorry for the long post but was getting frustrated trying to get over this plateau.

I help u run some 32 poe this evening for armor core this evening if you're on ps4. Thats best way get to 34. Buy it from variks. Selling chest peices this week. Vex for titan and lock. Cabal for hunter

PoE 32 is cake this week. Run it to get a chest piece.

Run your nightfall and hope you get etheric light.

Those 2 things would put you at 33.

problem i have had with 32 PoE is I don't have a gallahorn to burn the final boss. that and i don't a group of friends to pull from so it is luck of the draw on who i can get to join me.

You don't have to have a ghorn. This week is just the slowness from his throwup. Any tracking rockets should help against wizards. Balck Hammer is fairly ideal on the boss. Otherwise, snipe and rocket him as you can or just help clear adds while your teammates finish off the boss.

Surely some xbox'ers on here can help out and carry you through it this week.

That's low man. Because of that 35 PoE, I've retired from Destiny.

WTF did I do? I tried to help. We got to the last mine. We would have beat it if Bungie didn't start dropping me over and over.

I hope your retirement is short lived. We should have Iron Banner back next week. I know you LOVE that!!!!!!!

You don't know how tempted I was to throw some Skolas pictures in the Madden thread when you started talking about MUT the last day or two..... :)

I blame the fact you tried for that long. And then got Mouth involved when you were already past your boiling point...

I was only kidding about blaming you. We would have likely beaten it if you could have stayed on.

I would have beaten it with Mouth and Jdog, but then I kept getting booted.

Your buddy MiG was the final straw. He just wasn't experienced enough, even though he said he'd run it several times. I knew better at that point.

I just couldn't keep a team together. I had four or five different groups that afternoon and each time it took like an hour just to get accustomed to each other.

Ran a 32, 34, & 35 PoE with my titan last night.
Probably took a little over 3 hours to run all 3.
Got the basics, nothing special, 2 etheric lights, 2 armor cores, 2 weapon cores,
treasure key, and a elder cipher bounty.
I always forget about those cipher bounties. If your bounty lot is full you will not receive cipher bounty.
It was a good run because I need all of this material to level up guns and armor.....

Supposed to be Iron Banner today.

If you are near your system at 1250, I'd recommend the Iron Banner glitch for 2 pieces elight and any weapons/armor you want...

Really enjoying Destiny right now. Ready or the Taken King. This below is from reddit:

Hello everyone, I have received some early information on the Taken King and Destiny 2.0. For the sake of confidentiality, I will not release the name or names of anyone that was involved in telling me this information. I can tell you for sure that I have certain connections with people that are in contact with others that are working on the release of The Taken King and other Destiny titles. Although this information is second hand, which I may let you believe or not, it is in very trusted people that i have obtained this knowledge. When it all comes down to it though, this is just speculation and can be changed in the future.

Now for the information:

Bungie is currently working on a Clans 2.0 in which you and your clan mates may be able to give each other buffs in game. These possibly earned through meeting certain clan requirements.
Cayde-6 and Zavala, the hunter and titan vanguard, both play big roles in The Taken King. Not quite sure how they will be incorporated though.
Artifacts are in fact not going to be relics, but something completely different. Quoted, "They are going to be much cooler, giving guardians new effects and new ways to play".
Although this is probably well known, Eris Morn will be a huge part in the story of The Taken King. Main quest giver.
There will be three separate bosses in the Dread naught raid as seen in the trailers. The big guys that stand out.
Something that sounds very exciting, the land tanks from Cabal will be seen much more throughout the quest line. Hinted that they will be usable in the quests!
The Cabal, even though they are being hunted and taken, they are still not going to be an ally in the main quest line. They will in fact turn to shoot at you just as they do in any other patrol or mission.
The new taken abilities of Cabal, Fallen, Vex, and hive are all going to be mirrors of supers or close to them. For Ex. dregs will put up bubble shields just like a defender titan would. They will be used to counter certain supers of guardians.
The Dread naught patrol will be much larger and contain much more then normal patrols. Hiding treasures and secrets that will take months to figure out. A planet in itself, but larger.
Saturn will not be explore-able. As I really hoped it might of been even a little. Like ship exploration of some sort as it is a gas giant.
Bungie is working on a new form of ascending for Year 2 that I couldn't be told too much about. Stated, "It is too complicated to explain, but it will be similar to the current form of ascending that we know already". I assume from what they said it meant that they could not go deeper into detail about it at this time. It will also have a way to "customize" yourself to be different then other guardians. Possibly shaders for guns?
Now for Destiny 2.0, this will be a completely new game. It is titled currently as "Destiny 2 - The Shattered Suns" and is planned for release on September of 2016. You will still be using your current characters. It will focus heavily on Osiris and his endeavors as he is the main quest giver in the game. A new form of enemy is said to be in development, Possibly Ahamkara? Couldn't get a straight answer from anyone on that. Mercury is also supposed to be a big player in "Destiny 2 - The Shattered Suns". The main area in which the guardian will explore. Bungie has also hired on Hollywood writers for the story of this game as well. A new voice for the ghost is also being implemented. Bungie apparently stated that they are not going to continue with DLC's, but instead release free raids, planets, etc. throughout time. They will only be continuing with the main games after TTK and its successor DLCs.
Finally as a bonus, there is not going to be trading implemented into the game ever. Stated,"Activision got sent a letter regarding what not to do on a mmorpg from Blizzard, and trading was on that list". Also that there is no 6th chest in the VoG or has only been known by a small group of people in the studio. It was just a bluff to keep us occupied for The Taken King most likely.
I am welcome to discussion because i'm sure not everyone will believe everything in this post. Like i said, this is second hand information and cannot be fully proven till launch. All this info has been obtained by very trustworthy people though and i have never known any of them to lie. Thank you and stay frosty guardians.

Edit* I have had people message me saying that certain things may or may not be allowed to talk about, but i want everyone to know that this is just complete speculation and I have only received this information based on casual talk while playing Destiny. Nothing I can call a solid answer. So please take everything with a grain of salt and have a great day :)

Edit* The amount of popularity astounds me on this subject! Thanks for all the discussion. As a lot of people have been stating, they think that Activision wouldn't drop the DLCs based on pure revenue loss, which in turn I believe as well, but I think what might be in play after TTK and its successor DLCs, is something like a subscription based game with added free DLCs.

Saw that thread last night. Interesting stuff. I have to think most of it is accurate except the free raids, etc over time. That seems to be wishful thinking on Bungie's part.

Me and my friend ran some trials of osiris last night with a guy who was really good......he almost carried us to 5 wins with the boons........we came up short and lost 3 straight matches tied at 4 to 4 with us losing the last one.....frustrating.......so close to 42 light boots.

Seems like everyone has the itch again for this game. I quit playing it when I kind of hit a wall at level 26. I was into Witcher 3, but now I'm back playing this and I jumped up to level 31 in just a day and a half. About to be 32. I can't run raids because I can't find anyone to do them with. Hell I still haven't even ran VOG before. All the gear I've got has been by luck with strikes or crucible or bought from new monarchy.

I have tried solo'ing which is almost impossible for me to get all the plates synced. But as far as killing the enemies goes I am mowing them down. Just can't be in three places at once.
