I am addicted to this game....wonder how hard it is gonna be for me to catch up before HOW release....just pounding a couple missions a night....

With a single character? Probably a month and a half min to reach max level cap. You can really only get about 8-12 shards /wk and you need 63, I believe. That's ~1.5 months once you start running Crota's End.

ps. Make a 2nd character once you complete a Crota's End raid. And a third if you're really addicted.

At a couple missions a night you'll reach the 32 cap by the time the 10 year plan rounds out.

You need at least one more character and need to run Crota weekly with both.

Game is way too addicting..Love it tho....Finally got all my characters to level 32...Just can't seem to get that Fate Bringer...I get everything but that one.

Super pumped Xur is selling The Last Word. I'm late to the party on doing raids/strikes and buying from Xur. This will be my first purchase. I've got a level 30 Sunsinger.

The Last Word is a pretty fun gun with the fan fire perk. I think it may have been my first exotic.

I was really thinking about it....but now I am Addicted to Destiny and from what I have read so far they won't let you take your progress from xbox to ps4.....Might have to just ride out the 360 until they have a destiny 2 but it will probably still build on your character.....hail to the queen

Level 17 last night and Ole dad got a good machine gun and leveled the playing field in the crucible....I was popping heads off boys.....I plan on making the queen a VFL

Ok I am level 16 almost now. I quit playing for awhile because I had another new game I couldn't resist to play through. I have a question. I unlocked my defender class and it almost seems useless. I am a Titan so my armor is almost all the way up by now from upgrades. And the defender class just makes you start all of your perks over. Is it worth it or what are the advantages?

I use the defender subclass much more than the other one. I find the smash is too vulnerable and rarely all that helpful. A defender bubble can save your life and give you health and a shield or more damage with your Weapons. I would almost argue that you should max it as soon as possible.

I use the bubble on both raids at diff points and on many strikes. A weapons of light bubble and black hammer will murder the eyeball in the Devils Lair. I've gotten a lot of 20+ combos on this setup which shortens that fight to a minute or less unless it's a nightfall.

If a anyone else is on PS4 join us. There are 3 or 4 us still playing regularly and we'll help carry you if needed.

I agree. It seems like the smash only works on lower level enemies anyway. I used it on some bosses tonight and it was hardly effective. It did however leave me vulnerable as you said lol.

Defender is probably what you'll use nearly 100% of the time when you run weekly heroic/nightfall and raids. For bounties and any other crap it doesn't matter really. Personal preference.

Pretty much the only time I used striker is when I played crucible.

Weapons of light plus the arc damage in nightfall last night, and we beat him easily in under a minute. Felt like less than 30 seconds. First wave of enemies never even made it in.

Did this almost exactly the same with StoVol and OWB. It was a beauty
