I barely play PVP. I'd play Iron Banner for guns/armor with a couple friends each time, but outside of that, I rarely play crucible. Maybe some on a Sat afternoon once a month if my buddy wants to run bounties.
In PVP I mix it up. Hand cannon/AR mostly. PVE I've been strictly hand cannon for probably a couple months now. Got a couple builds I like and stuck with it. Hand cannons can turn 13 bullets into 10-12 kills pretty easily. I like that better than ARs.
Shotguns buff vs PVE is nice, but what I'd like to know is if they can buff vs PVE only then why didn't they do that with Suros and the other nerfs they put in place when people complained about Crucible play.
I don't have a problem with how heavy is distributed. Special is so abundant because it's all over the map and respawns pretty quickly. If I read it correctly, I don't think their recent changes to special ammo distribution would have that much impact. All they're doing is lowering starting reserve. Doesn't matter when the special ammo box shows up and your shotgun/fusion count goes from 4 to 14. Run around a couple corners and there will be another special ammo box. It's too easy to load up special.
Personally, I couldn't care less how special is distributed. If people have a lot, then ok. If they don't, that's cool too.
