Destiny

Gamespot beat the game yesturday. Gave it a 6/10. Said the graphics and mechanics were great, but the missions are completely dull and repetitive and lack creativity. This game will probably get boring fast for me so I'll probably pass this one.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. The missions basically revolve around dropping on to a planet, navigating to a set point, then fending off swarms of enemies as your ghost deciphers an encrypted message. I find myself playing only one mission per sitting, then popping in The Show. I've yet to play Destiny with any of my friends, so hopefully I will enjoy this game more when I am joined by others.

I can agree with the missions but this game is based around strikes, raids and multiplayer. Not the story.

same. I'll play a mission and then go play Madden. I'll probably just play madden and all my PC games until MC Collection comes out in November.

I don't really understand this game. I have had fun with some missions and the fights are pretty epic.

But, I don't get the multiplayer. Am I supposed to have friends at the exact same spot as me? I don't. Do I play missions ahead or behind me?

Another thing....I keep leveling up. And so does every monster. So, end of the day, what's the point? You seem to always be the same strength as the monsters.

Its a bizarre game. I like the epic fights but the story and voice acting is extremely awful and kills it.

One other thing...the missions...why do we keep doing the same stuff over and over? I have learned you can run through most fights unless its a can't respawn area. After engaging a few 'open world fights' I've started just running past them. Seems a waste of time.

Yes lol the voice acting is terrible. Im not the smartest person but some of the things that are said in the game is just plain dumb.

I can see where people are a little undecided about the game if they've stuck with the story or co-op. The story is weak, the missions are repetitive. You have to be playing with friends to make it enjoyable. But when I was in a fireteam with friends, it was great.

I like the massive boss battles that I've come across so far. Either do it right and make it a real fight or don't do boss battles at all.

Looking forward to trying the multiplayer soon when me and some friends can get back on at the same time.

Missions are very repetitive. Every mission on each takes place on same map. Im hoping this game doesn't get old fast because I love every other aspect of it but that.

I still enjoy missions with friends, but I can't see that lasting too long. Almost completed all the mission bounties.

Crucible gonna have to be good to keep my interest.

I must just be in a different ballpark than a lot of you here. I am not huge on the missions either, but the highlight of them is the bosses. The bosses are great. Some of them are downright terrifying. Obviously getting to them can be a bit redundant, but that ls Bungie at its finest.

Multiplayer is great. Overall I'm very pleased with this game.

I agree. I love the bosses in the strikes. The moon one was awesome!

You got that right! My friends and I fought that big bastard last night and it took us almost an hour to bring him down.

I am really enjoying the game. My friends and I have been having a blast being on the same fire team, playing, shooting the shlt, etc.

We played the boss on the moon it took over a hour. I have never played any game with boss battles that were so hard. The multi player side of this game playing the missions is exactly what I wanted from a PS4 game.

I'm a level 13 and my friend is a 25. I haven't had as much time to play as he has. But anyways, we did a fireteam and ran through the Moon strike and all of Venus in like 2 hours. It was nice. Caught me up real fast.
