Did you actually watch the offense this year? We were lining up Tight Ends and H-backs all over the place and throwing to them.

Yeah, we didn't throw to tight ends for a while there, but things were different this season for sure. And we'll forget 59-20 if we beat them 45-3 in Knoxville this year. (I know I dream big)

I don't know if you get more than one 45-3 over the Gators in a lifetime. The good part is that they never forget it, just like Auburn has never forgotten 42-0.

2002 Witten and 2007 Brown/Cottam/Cottam... we need to rename UT "Tight End U"...

You can lose a game by 39 points, but it doesn't count anymore than losing by one. It's sickening for a while and then you learn from it and go on if you're a winner. This team lost by 39 and ended the regular season a few plays away from winning the SEC.

This wasn't a great season by the standards that UT football should have, but it's not one to be ashamed of, either. I'm not so sure I could say that for Alabama or for Florida.

While I can take some solace in UT having a better overall season than Bama & FL, try as I may, that is not balm enough to heal the pain of the head to head loses. I cannot stand a loss to them whatever the margin.
