Well his son does suck.. Freshman taking over a Junior lol.. And his brother is a big bust in the NFL to.. They all look a little fruity.

Whatever, Dez should have shown a little professional courtesy. He needs to be unbiased but you don't call out a colleagues son like that. Somethings are just better left unsaid. I don't advocate violence, but Dez is a puss for tweeting it, that's straight up gay. He should have met Phil out in the parking lot and settled it there, instead of in the media. Man up Dez.

If someone talks **** about your son I have a feeling most "men" would become fighting mad. A little fruit like desmond running his mouth would be enough to get under my skin as well. Put yourself in his shoes.

Phil Simms was a douche when he played and he's still a douche.....had he not had the benefit of a spectacular defense and a very solid running game his career would have mirrored that of Rex Grossman

Bruh! I hear you, but its hypocrital because Phil does the same thing around the NFL were guys aren't performing up to par! Now look Matt Sims wasn't performing up to par. isn't true or not? We know that Bray wasn't in there against the meat grinders of our schedule, but who can be honest and say that Matt Sims performance was good in all those games! Better yet the Orange and White game Bray got the player of the game! All around Sims Sr. needs to chill Dez was at work doing his job.

are there people actually arguing that matt simms would have put up the same numbers as bray? No he is not capable of making the plays that tyler bray is. He played poorly and acted as if he was playing well.

I have sat near the parent section in Neyland and I would never insult the players to those parents. They are big and loud and united. And it isn't the dads I'm afraid of -- it is the Vol Moms. Phil is a twit compared to those mama bears.

Desmond Howard was completely wrong if he said this directly to Simms. It doesn't matter how old Matt Simms is, its still Phil's son.

If Howard said it in general, without Phil there, then Phil went looking for him, Phil Simms is completely wrong.

I can't get a feel for which is was based on the tweets I've seen.

That sounds like Pittsburgh Ben to me. Standing up for your kid doesn't make you a 'douche'. Raping a drunk woman in a bathroom while your bodyguard watches the door = douche. Also, take Ben of Steelers and repace him with Rivers and see how many championships Ben has ??
