Describe your feelings going into the rest of the season...

my feelings are shot. i'm keeping all the money i had saved for the football season in my account to keep until basketball season. i'm done. reading the boards makes me sick, i'm tired the talk radio.

where i was at half time of the UCLA game: defending the vols and saying that we were about to pour it on as soon as we got our first offensive TD.

where i was at half time of the Florida game: walking back to the fort from the game and cursing myself for wasting so much money on tickets.

my care meter has gone from "2 days, 3 hours, and 45 minutes until gametime baby!" to "oh is it saturday? oh ok."

I expect to hear "Well, at least they kept it close. It was a hard fought loss." alot. Just a bunch of sugar coating to a very dissappointing season.

I've followed UT all over the country, from Gainesville to Tempe, and almost hate to admit I'm almost numb about the rest of the year. It's sad that I feel that way, but the last few years have caught up to me. I don't have any expectations, and don't think we can compete with most of the teams in our own conference. I don't see myself getting upset if we lose, or getting too excited if we win...I think the past few years of unfulfilled expectations have soured me this season....

I feel like a Vandy fan. I've never woke up Saturday and expected us to lose. Isn't that what Vandy fans do? Well, used to do? I'm just frustrated, and in order not to go over the top I have to just laugh at our play. God help us

We will finish at 7-5 and probably accept a bid to play at The Liberty Bowl.

Practice Report (Offense): Coach Phillip Fulmer said the offense had its best practice of the season to wrap up Auburn week.

I have a feeling that the Vols may have actually arrived at "the corner"...what they decide to do will be made known on Sat afternoon on the Plains of Auburn.

My prediction (premination) is they will be in the fight early and take this game into the 4th qtr, with a chance to win. The outcome still appears to be a bit fuzzy, and while I cannot see the final score, there seems to be some excitement on the TN sidelines.....GOOOO Vols!

I'm down with your preminations, whatever they are.

I'm just whatever right now. I guess I'll still watch the games. I still think we could do something good this year. It's sad that we seem to be playing not to lose instead of playing to win. I hope we win, I for sure won't ever pull for us to lose..I guess its apathy maybe.

I must be totally different than alot of the people in here. I still get excited as the week goes on no matter how bad we are doing and no matter how much I want CPF fired and want Crompton on the bench. Here it is Friday night and all I can think about is the game tomorrow. Are we going to win, are we going to play good is our defense going to make some ESPN highlights with some smash mouth tackles. I am excited and I get that way everyweek we play. I don't look at the rest of the season so it's hard for me to answer that but I do look at every game every week because if you look at the rest of the season it could really get depressing and bring you down but if you think of it as one game each week its as exciting as opening game every week. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
