I am still excited about watching TN football but the rivalry games feel less rival! I think our rivals are looking at us with pity. How much wind has the team taken out of your sails for the rest of the season? What is your mood going into the rest of the season?

It kinda like Novocaine, I know my face is there but I can't feel it. Same thing goes for this team, I know they are playing but it just doesn't excite me like it should.

Pissed off with a dose of apathy. I know, makes no sense, kind of like buffalo wings.

You guys aren't apathetic. If you were, you wouldn't have just posted in this thread.

7-5 is the breaking point in terms of Fulmer's career and where things begin to get dicey. But 8-4 will be the critical record. If that guy manages to squeeze out 8 wins this year and triggers that raise/extension, he will never recover the few fans he has sitting on the fence.

not apathetic toward the Vols, but really apathetic regarding outcomes this season.

It will change at kickoff, but likely slide back shortly thereafter.

It's like watching a 75 year old pastor. Do you love him, yes, but you've heard/seen the same thing for the last 20 years and it's the same sermon week in and week out. You'd feel bad to criticize him, yes, but he sucks and you know it. That's the best way i can describe my emotions this year.

Not to overstate the obvious, but I am just incredibly disappointed. At the same time I am hopeful that sooner or later (preferably sooner) Clawson will have the offense working effectively.

I'll probably be in a deer stand or duck blind with a portable radio instead of Neyland in October and late November.
