On their Vandymania site, someone began a thread entitled "If you could give the pre-game locker room speech ..."

One response was

"I will be stepping down after this game so please try to score a TD in this game"

That makes me feel bad for them. People love their school. Vandy students/alumi are no different. They had the chance to honestly feel pride for their football team. And now it's gone.

As a former drunken college student I can in all honesty say.....I didn't need much of an excuse to act like an idiot. Hell, we made a game out of making excuses to get drunk and act like idiots.
