When they shake hands after the game. I hope Butch pulls him real close and says say it say Tennessee for me then after he does he makes coach mason call him daddy then he puts him over his knee in front of 102,000 people and spanks him.

He may refuse to say Tennessee, but he might as well admit that he lives in it. Also, he won't be able to refuse to admit he got beat by us. Mason should be coaching volunteer little league. He SUCKS!!!

Kinda except for the fact that Vanderbilt is located in TN...where TN is not located in Alabama. So it's kinda weird he won't say the name of the state that "they supposedly own". Vandy is such a joke in football lmao

Well guys I hate the burst this thread but mason was on 104.5 this morning and he referred to us as Tennessee. Time to find something else equally stupid to squabble about

I won 't settle for these than 50 hung on these clowns and if Butch can't get this team up after the last two years, he should take a remedial course in motivation, I see blood in the water.

I will be disappointed if we don't put 50 on this candy team. Jones has all the motivation in the world including last year debacle.

I was thinking the same thing. I remember the whole DiNardo won't say Tennessee thing from the 90's.

If I were Mason, I don't think I would be taking pages from the playbook of prior failed Vandy coaches.

On their Vandymania site, someone began a thread entitled "If you could give the pre-game locker room speech ..."

One response was

"I will be stepping down after this game so please try to score a TD in this game"
