Dooley is a straight shooter and thats good. IMO we have to play the games in order to get the results.. IMO we will be ok, look at Auburn last yr, no one gave Chizick a chance because of his record at Iowa and he has done a good job.

The only sure thing is that we have to play the games to see if we win or loose and Hope and Pray the the team "Gives it all for Tennessee" in every game.

I was in a rush & didnt add Gooch. He said he is excited to see how Gooch does in practice.

So i note that a lot of people are excited about moving Teague to D - he had some TDS as a freshman WR last year. . . What about teague makes him a good option on D? Did he play it well in HS?

He's very athletic and seems very versatile. He's not overly big, but he's compact and aggressive to the ball. He's also a pretty smart kid. 4.0 GPA in HS.

is beyond me. He is brilliant on the mike. Kiffin mumbled and stumbled through a press conference like a teen boy asking a girl out. Fulmer was just a blabbering idiot. It's nice to have a coach that speaks intelligently. It might not mean much on the field, but at least it's nice to hear.

Tuberville would have done the same thing.

Gene Chizik sucks. He inherited a good program, but he's going to run it down into the ground.

At press conferences I agree. Dooley is very smart. Kiffin sounded terrible when speaking. Like you said...mumbles, etc. It will take time but hopefully his coaching ability will translate to wins.

Grades. Dooley said he didn't do what he needed to do with his grades. He's still enrolled and can get academic support at Thornton but is no longer on scholarship.

Absolutely agree!! Fulmer killed me on Sundays. Even if we won I couldn't take the Phil Ful Show. Kiffin is just weird. There is something awkward about the dude.

CDD has not coached a UT football game yet....but he wins the battle of the pressers hands down over Fulmer and Kiffin. Very poor perfomances by both. Dooley does great. Now let's just hope he coaches that well.
