College Player Database - Depth Chart

Just taking a look and other than the unsteady QB play we are solid at a lot of positions. Plug in a Marlon Brown and Stokes at receiver and get some solid contribution at linebacker and defensive line from some younger guys and I think we can do this.

It should be a down year for Georgia and with some luck and Monte's defense we get a win against Florida, we are right there. Can't wait till next season. GO VOLS:rock:

A lot of experience on offense--but QB is the huge question mark and the blocking will have to be lots better and so too the passing game, which was pathetic last year. On defense, the DL and LB look thin/weak to me. Is Frazior a player at LB? Reivez plays hard but how good is he? At DT, very little depth.

It will be interesting to see how much the depth chart changes since CLK said that no job is safe. Who plays RT if Ramone Johnson does get kicked out and who will be the back-ups?

Even the solid guys will have to improve over the off season. Not to mention the fact that everyone will be learning new schemes. I expect a lot of growing pains next season.

If Kiffin is a man of his word, I don't think there's any way we can speculate on the depth charts next year. Other than #14, who knows who'll be out there opening day?

Orangesox, I agree 100%! I know one player in particular who plans to surprise a lot of people. I could be wrong. Time will tell. :)

Donald Langley is missing from that depth chart. I think he could end up a starter this year after the new staff's evaluation process.

We will be in serious need of O-linemen after the 2009 season. I don't know who we'll bring in this season other than Schofield and Revis. That has to be priority #1 for the 2010 recruiting class. Also, it will be difficult to land a top notch QB in the '10 class without linemen to block for him.

After Berry, the defensive backfield is very inconsistent. Assuming he leaves after the 09 season, we will definitely need some quality DB's.
