Hef is more experienced, and can probably play press. D.Mo is a little quicker, so he can get the extra help there faster than Hef at FS anyway. I just hope it works as well on the field as it does in my head...

also guys, they are going with a rebuilt o-line. with the crowd noise and the prowler look chavis will no doubt use, they should have a considerable amount of trouble.

The secondary is still pretty good with Morley in place if Johnson.

the DL depth is no. 1 concern i think, the starting line of Mitchell, McBride, McGothlin, and Reynolds is pretty good.

On the 2nd team, Ayers is playing with a broken hand, Fisher is coming back from shoulder surgery, and Mapu is still getting into football shape.

I'm much more worried about our d-line than secondary. We've generally been able to get pressure with our down linemen in recent years, with Harrell out I'm worried we won't be able to do that.

Our defense is built around have a stout 4 down linemen. Time for those guys to step up.

Our line wasn't really getting pressure on the Cal QB's when you think about it.

True. It was mostly Mayo and Karl coming free on blitzes.

I wonder how the blitzing is going to be without INKY in the secondary? I read where the Hefney is moving to CB and Morely is going to play safety. We might get to see some safety blitzing if that's the case.

Then keep blitzing and hope the other guys don't know when to take advantage of overpursuit. The SEC is more or less devoid of steadfast QB's. We could pull off the same thing every game this season.
