Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

They can. Vandalizing the vehicles or the infrastructure pits one passion (hate for elon) against the other (love foe earth).

For example, consider a zealous group who were vocal about the need to house the homeless but hated Jimmy Carter. If they burned down habit for humanity houses to "protest" Carter, you could see the incongruity.
Think of all the damage done to the environment making the EVs--mining the materials, the toxicity of the batteries and petrolium products... Just to have some radical-left moran set it all on fire, burnt into the atmosphere, and never get a single beneficial use out of it.

Think of spending millions and millions on EVs and infrastructure at the Federal level, only for Trump to turn off all the charging, mothball all the vehicles (or sell at loss), then go out and buy new fleets.

Sounds like one's being hypocritical and the other... Trump? The federal gov't?

So this is how you justify terrorism, by the way?

I don't think anyone should be vandalizing cars. It doesn't really fit the legal definition of terrorism.

I'm talking about waste. If you're concerned about waste, you'd have been concerned about wasting EVs and infrastructure. If you're concerned that people are turning on Musk, stick with that argument.

Eh, the use of threat and/of violence to instill fear, especially for political purposes. You have people coordinate to burn your businesses and inventory in order to destroy your life, among mass calls alluding to having you killed. I guess mileages would vary.

(It was a discussion from the supposed leftist's perspective and ideals.) We're talking about the hypocrisy of these supposed leftists destroying the environment while creating acts of terrorism. Your response is whataboustism per public policy.

Knock yourself out.

Thinks about spending millions and millions of private equity money on a pipeline only to have Biden shut it down.

he turned off the charging? I saw they cut new funding, but haven't heard about turning off the ones already installed and running.

DOGE is the equivalent of skipping work to toss the couch cushions looking for lost change. The economy is moving to Defcon 2 and people have their magnifying glasses out fretting over tens of millions of "waste"

wow. that is wasteful if its in place. I could understand installing a pay system on existing, but most of that just requires an App, not anything physical these days.
I believe they're likely there to charge federal vehicles as many were being moved to electric. If the infrastructure is in place they might be able to auction them off to the private charging companies

I haven't looked at it much beyond headlines in my news feed

Anything this guy posts should be taken with a grain of salt. Guy made it three years as a cop before being fired. Apparently just a real POS who found a little niche grifting MAGA folks on X for clout and ad rev.
lol

guys on vid sez he is being paid to protest

What a surprise, Musk jumped the gun blaming Ukraine. I know next to nothing about cyber security, and I still know you can't trust the IP's you're seeing in a ddos attack.
