you might be able to imagine trying to recruit to Fayetteville. While it has grown tremendously and has much to offer a young family, I can't imagine wanting to come here as a college freshman. No, I like Nolan. I would give him more leeway than someone I find 100% detestable.As to the Nolan affair. I'd say Broyles put up with Nolan for about as long as possible after the NC. In fact, given your fire to can Fulmer, I can imagine that you would have canned him far sooner for lackluster recruiting, player laxness and dismal game results.
that might be so, but it doesn't excuse lack of effort. Maybe Broyles should have been the one to go, but that wasn't about to happen. If Nolan had still been getting after it and been fielding competitive teams, he might have stood a fighting chance.I would agree with that. However, I think the main cause of that was his contempt for Broyles.
