I guess I am dating myself when I can tell you guys that I used a Easton Black Magic, watched Todd Helton swing the white Easton, then I remember the first carbon composite bats, C-Core I think that was what they were called by Easton. Of course, back then you could get a 33 inch bat 2 3/4 diameter and it just weighed 28 oz.
Would love to take a swing and actually feel the sweet spot on one of these new models the boys are using now. Just had to take a trip down memory lane.
There's a new company called Rip-It that is starting to gain popularity. Apparently they had the best test results at the coach's convention. Several schools have started using them.

They cost the same as Easotn, Demarini, etc. They are just a newer company.
The bat that was banned was the Marucci CAT 5. I think this is the second year they have been making bats.
